In one of the best Streak for the Cash picks, the Colorado Rockies led by left fielder Carlos Gonzalez host the Arizona Diamondbacks in what should be a great NL West seres. Can the Rockies sustain their hot start in chilly Denver? Mandatory Credit: Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Friday’s Streak for the Cash picks come from all over the place, and offer some solid picks even though there aren’t that many that I’m super-confident in. The morning and afternoon picks come from Hilton Head where the PGA Tour is in action and from soccer leagues in the Czech Republic, Netherlands, and France. Tonight’s picks come from the continued NHL playoff push and early-season baseball as well as a Mexican Primera Division pick and props as ESPN2 carries the match from Chiapas. My analysis will have to be brief since I’ve got lots going on today, but here’s the picks I like the most.

Streak Picks for 4/19

Apr 11, 2013; Augusta, GA, USA; Graeme McDowell hits his tee shot on the 18th hole during the first round of the 2013 The Masters golf tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. Mandatory Credit: Jack Gruber-USA TODAY Sports

8:00- Graeme McDowell or Tie: I got burned giving the tie in yesterday’s nine-hole golf prop so I’ll take the tie in this match where McDowell faces Luke Donald. Both McDowell and Donald got off to solid but not spectacular starts with Donald sitting at -2 in the first round and McDowell at even par. On the back nine, McDowell was +1 on the back nine while Donald was even. There’s just not enough separation in this case for me to give the tie. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:00- Jihlava win: Jihlava at home is 5-5-1 while Teplice is 0-2-9 on the road while being outscored 23-8. Confidence Meter: 2 1/2

12:30- Jim Furyk or Tie: Furyk shot three strokes better on day one and is the more consistent of the two golfers. Snedeker had a great first three days at Augusta but has struggled outside of that since his injury. Confidence Meter: 5

2:30- Lyon win or draw: Lyon is 16-8-8 sitting third in Ligue one as they travel to Montpellier who is 14-6-12. Montpellier is good at home (10-4-2) but Lyon has earned a draw or win in 10 of their 16 road games. This should be a good one, but when the teams are this even I like to take the draw. Confidence Meter: 3 1/2

7:00- Buffalo Sabres: The Rangers to go Buffalo after playing last night and trashing Florida. The Sabres have won three straight and six of eight and come into this one 10-8-3 at home while New York is 8-11-2 on the road. Confidence Meter: 5

7:10- Tampa Bay Rays: Oakland is 12-4 on the season and 6-0 on the road, but they’ll head to Tampa looking to help their struggling ace join them in their early-season success. Brett Anderson is juat 1-2 with a 4.34 ERA and gave up seven earned runs against Detroit his last time out. He’ll be opposed by Alex Cobb who has pitched well and enters the game tonight 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA. Because the Rays have the better starting pitcher and they’re at hom, I’ll take them to win at the Trop. Confidence Meter: 4

8:10- Milwaukee Brewers: The Brewers are coming off a sweep of San Francisco and send Marco Estrada to the mound who got his only win against the same Cubs team he’ll face tonight. He’ll be opposed by Jeff Samardzija who has lost his last two starts after being brilliant on Opening Day. Confidence Meter: 5

8:40- Colorado Rockies: The Rockies are 6-0 at home and send Jhoulys Chacin to the mound looking to get his third win of the season. He comes in with a 1.96 ERA and faces Ian Kennedy who is 1-1 with a 5.79 ERA. Arizona was able to avoid a sweep in New York last night, but Kennedy was hit pretty hard by the Dodgers his last time out although he pitches well against the Rockies historically. Confidence Meter: 6

9:00Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers have dropped six in a row as they take on Colorado who they’ve beaten three of the four times they’ve played them this season. The Avs are eliminated from the playoffs while the Oilers still have an outside shot. Edmonton needs it, so I think they get it. Confidence Meter: 3

10:07- Detroit Tigers: The Tigers head into Los Angeles to take on LA having won four of their last five. The Angels can’t seem to get things together mainly due to the struggles of their rotation. Angels’ starters have a 6.07 ERZ and Tommy Hanson is just 1-1 with a 6.55 ERA in his first season in LA. He’ll be opposed by Anibal Sanchez who comes in 2-0 with an exceptional 1.42 ERA. Confidence Meter: 7
