As we start the final full week of April, Monday features a full slate of Streak for the Cash action with picks from international soccer starting the day followed by options from the NHL, MLB, and the NBA Playoffs tonight. Here’s the picks I’ll be watching today:

Streak Picks 4/22

12:00- Slavia Prague win: Slavia Prague is favored at home even giving the draw as they shoot up the table going 2-3-1 in their last six and enter today’s match in ninth place. They’ll host Slovacko today who is headed the other direction in the table having dropped their last four in a row. Prague should be able to win since they’re playing better and are the home team although giving the draw is always a little dicey. Confidence Meter: 4

3:00- Man United wins by 2+ Goals: Man U has been dominant at home all season as they sit atop the EPL table. They’ve gone 14-0-2 at Old Trafford winning seven of those games by multiple goals. In this prop, they’ll face Aston Villa who have struggled this season and sit just above the relegation zone at 17th. On the road this season, they’ve gone 4-5-7 with multi-goal losses at Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham, and Southampton. Man U won 3-2 in their earlier meeting and being at home they should be able to get the green in this one as long as they play most of their usual starters. Confidence Meter: 5

3:01- Yes, Man U leads at halftime: I think United dominates this one. I could easily see them winning 4-0 and I think they’ll be up at least one at half. Confidence Meter: 3

6:35- Oakland Athletics: I hate to pick against my Red Sox, and I won’t even though I think the A’s are the better pick here (I’ll wait for a later pick). Oakland was just swept in Tampa, but the Red Sox are coming off losing both halves of a double-header against the Royals which required extra innings in the second game. Their bullpen is spent which is especially worrisome with Felix Doubront on the hill since he’s been solid but hasn’t been able to go deep into games so far this season. Doubront’s history against Oakland isn’t good, and the A’s have several former Red Sox who tend to hit Boston hard. A.J. Griffin, who opposes Doubront, is off to a solid start to the eason and will look to stop his team’s three-game slide. Plus, how could you pick against Josh Reddick’s beard (right) in its return to Fenway?… I hope I’m wrong on this and that the Red Sox get a W, but I would advise picking the A’s. Confidence Meter: 5

7:03- Tampa Bay Rays: The Rays swept the A’s and now welcome in the Yankees who are coming off a series where they managed to take two of three from Toronto at Rogers Centre. The Rays inconsistent offense will have its hands full as it faced CC Sabathia who has won his last three starts. He struggled a bit last year against the Rays, though, going just 1-2 with a 3.63 ERA in five starts against his division rival. The Rays have their own top-tier lefty to oppose him tomorrow as they send Matt Moore to the hill who has won his first three starts of the year allowing just two earned runs while striking out 20 in 18 innings. Tampa has won 11 of their last 13 home games against the Yankees, and I think they’ll open this series with a win on ESPN’s Monday Night Baseball. Confidence Meter: 4

7:05- Winnipeg Jets: The Jets went 5-0-1 on their last homestand and go on the road tonight to Buffalo looking to play their way into the NHL postseason. They’ve beaten Buffalo in their last five meetings, and the Sabres could be a bit down after losing friday to New York 8-4 and being eliminated from playoff contention. The Jets are playing better and have more to play for. Confidence Meter: 5 1/2

7:35- Ottawa Senators: The Pittsburgh Penguins visit Scotiabank Place to take on the Senators after clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The Sens have plenty to play for as they’re fighting for the last few playoff spots with the Rangers and Jets and are at home where they have an impressive 15-4-3 record. They took the Pens to a shootout earlier this season at home before losing 2-1. Ottawa had won four in a row before losing Saturday to Toronto. I think that because they need the game more and the Penguins may take the opportunity to let some of their players heal up a bit the Senators get this win at home even though they’re getting no love from SFTC pickers right now. Confidence Meter: 3

8:10- Cleveland Indians: The Tribe sends Justin Masterson to the mound as he looks to beat the White Sox for the second time this season. He comes in with a 3-1 record and a 1.67 ERA including a five-hit shutout against Chicago in his first outing. He’ll be opposed by Dylan Axelrod who is 0-1 with a 4.70 ERA. Axelrod has struggled against the Indians in his past outings with a 6.35 ERA in two games pitched. Cleveland won their last two in Houston and I think they make it three tonight. Confidence Meter: 5

8:10- Nets winning Margin: The Nets are five-point favorites after destroying the Bulls in game one of their first round series. Brooklyn opened with a 106-89 thrashing of Chicago winning by 17 while Chicago hit just two three’s. I think this one will be closer, but the Nets are playing at a very high level right now while the Bulls are struggling to score. The Nets should protect their home court again in this one, and cruise to another double-digit win. Confidence Meter: 6

10:05- Chicago Blackhawks: The Blackhawks are looking to lockup the Presidents’ trophy as they play in Vancouver tonight. They’re currently on a 9-0-2 run, but the Canucks are playing well at home having won their last seven in a row at Rogers Arena. The two teams have each won at home in a shootout in their two previous meetings this season. This should be a close, well-played game, but I think the Blackhawks get the road win and keep their points streak going. Confidence Meter: 3

10:05- Texas Rangers: Derek Holland is 1-1 with a 1.64 ERA. He starts for Texas as they head to LA and take on the Angels who start Joe Blanton who’s 0-3 with a 8.59 ERA. Both teams have won their last three in a row, but the starting pitcher differential is just too glaring to overlook. Confidence Meter: 7

10:10- Milwaukee Brewers: The Brew-crew has won seven in a row as they head to San Diego and send one of their biggest offseason acquisitions to the mound still looking for his first win. Kyle Lohse has pitched well (2.70 ERA) but is 0-1 coming off a no decision against the Giants. He’ll face San Diego who scored just two runs while being swept in their three-game set by the Bay in San Francisco. The Brewers catch San Diego at a good time as they’ve lost eight of 11. They’ll look to Jason Marquis to get them back in the win column tonight as he comes in 1-1 with a 2.41 ERA. The Brewers have teed on on Marquis in their recent matchups and I think they will again tonight. Confidence Meter: 6

10:45- Zach Randolph field goals made or Tie: The Clippers are six-point favorites after dismantling the Grizz by 21 in game one of their series. LA is strong at home, but I think Memphis will keep this one closer. In the first game, in just 25 minutes Randolph made six field goals which is about his average. I do think the Clippers win but I don’t see it being a blowout. I’ll take Z-Bo’s FG made since I think this is about a five-point game. Confidence Meter: 4
