Thursday is jam-packed with picks on Streak for the Cash with over 25 options from around the world of sports. Things get started at the PGA Tour’s stop in New Orelans, and throughout the afternoon there’s options from Major League Baseball, the UEFA Europa League, and Swedish soccer. Tonight the NHL, MLB, and NBA have their usual night of picks, but the most fun and out-of-the-ordinary picks are the options from the NFL Draft tonight in New York. There’s lots of options to be sure, and these are the ones I’ll be tracking today:

Streak Picks 4/25

8:30- Jason Dufner: These are the two winners of the Zurich Classic the lsat two years and are both highlighted in my tournament preview. Dufner has a very sustained record of success here and I think he gets off to a hot start and takes this prop. Bubba Watson is a solid competitor, though, and I never like giving the draw in these short props. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

1:10- Los Angeles Dodgers: The Dodgers send Hyun-Jin Ryu to the mound as they look to take the rubber game of this three-game set with the Mets. They looked to have last night’s game in hand before giving up a run in the ninth and a walk-off grand-slam in the the 10th. New Yrok will look to carry that momentum into today but that could be tricky with Jeremy Hefner on the mound who has struggled mightily this season with a 7.07 ERA and a 0-2 record. Ryu had been pitching well before a rocky trip to Baltimore in his last outing, and the Dodgers offense appears to be coming around. I think they’ll be able to hold on and take the series this afternoon against Hefner. Confidence Meter: 4

1:30- Rickie Fowler: Fowler comes into the Zurich Classic playing well as he faces Ernie Els in this 18-hole matchup. Els gets the tie but has been struggling lately while Fowler has looked close to breaking out if he can limit damage on his tough holes. I think Fowler has a great week in Louisiana and takes this matchup to get it started. Confidence Meter: 5

3:05- FC Basel win or Draw: Basel hosts Chelsea after knocking out Tottenham Hotspur in the last round of the Europa League in Penalty kicks. Chelsea has played a brutal schedule lately, and the last time they traveled to Europe they lot 3-2 to FK Rubin Kazan. They play on the continent again today as they play today in Basel,  Switzerland. Since Basel is at home, I think they can get a draw. Confidence Meter: 4

7:05- New York Islanders: The Isles are on their way to the playoffs for the first time in six years while the Flyers are wrapping up their disappointing season. New York is 7-0-3 in their last 10 and are 8-1-2 in their last 11 road games. Phildelphia has won four of five, but ultimately fell short of the playoffs after their early-season offensive struggles. The Flyers won the game in Long Island early in the season, but the Islanders have won the last two meetings including a convincing 4-1 win just over two weeks ago. New York still has playoff seeding to play for while Phily doesn’t have much to play for. Confidence Meter: 4

7:05- Washington Nationals: Washington was the last undefeated team in Major League Baseball and were 6-0 at home, but have slid to below .500 and just 6-6 at home as they host the Cincinnati Reds at Nationals Park tonight. They’ll look to avenge their recent series loss to the Reds as they send Gio Gonzalez to the mound. Like most of the team, Gio has struggled recently after a good start and comes in just 1-1 with a 5.85 ERA. The Reds counter by sending Bronson Arroyo to the mound who is 2-1 with a 3.54 ERA. The Nats biggest problem has been their offense scoring just four runs total in their last four games. I think this will be a good game and that the Nats do get enough offense going to back Gonzalez as he stops their four-game slide. It’s definitely not the look it first appears though. Confidence Meter: 3 1/2

7:10- Miami Marlins: Miami will be looking for its first consecutive wins of the season after beating Minnesota Tuesday as they return to Miami to take on the Cubs. Both teams have struggled mightily offensively so far this season and are solidly in the bottom third in most major categories. Both starting pitchers in this game have yet to win as well with Edwin Jackson coming in 0-3 with a 4.84 ERA and Kevin Slowey at 0-2 despite a 1.90 ERA. Slowey hasn’t gotten any run support but the Fish found their bats winning 8-5 Tuesday and will look to build on that as they move forward. The Cubs have lost five of their last six all of which have been on the road. Confidence Meter: 4

8:00- St. Louis Blues: The Blues have won nine of their last 12 as they make their playoff push and are still playing for homeice in the first round. Calgary has been playing better with their overhauled roster winning five of their last six before losing to Nashville on Tuesday. St. Louis is at home and needs the game for their playoff seed, so I think they’ll get the win. Confidence Meter: 5

8:00- Yes Shariff Floyd goes in the top 3: Floyd is expected to go third to the Raiders if they don’t trade the pick. That’s the most likely scenario, but there’s a lot of fluidity at the top of the draft this year. Confidence Meter: 4

8:10- Texas Rangers: The Twins host Texas as they look for Vance Worley to be the pitcher they thought he could be when they acquired him last offseason from Phily. Worley had been horrible until his last start where there were signs of life as he got a no-decision against Chicago. Worley will be opposed by Nick Tepesch who comes in 1-1- with a 3.07 ERA. He had another solid start going in his last appearance before taking a line-drive off the wrist. I could see Tepesch vs Worley going either way, but the Rangers lineup is clicking right now  while Minnesota’s is struggling so I’ll go with Texas. Confidence Meter: 6

8:30- Columbus Blue Jackets: Two teams both alive for the last spots in the Western Conference playoffs meet as the Jackets visit Dallas to take on the Stars. The teams are trending opposite ways with Columbus winning six of seven and Dallas losing four of five. The teams split a pair earlier this season both in Columbus but I like the hot team to get the win even though its on the road in one of the better hockey games of the day. Confidence Meter: 4

8:33- Defense: The rest of the draft picks are lots of fun in you’re watching the draft, but hard to predict this far ahead of time. The best plan is to get on twitter and follow experts who update picks sometimes even before they happen. Last year, this happened repeatedly, but supposedly ESPN and SI are trying to stop premature tweeting. Rumors are that Jason La Canfora of CBSsports will still be breaking news before picks are anounced. The whole situation is spelled out here and could easily lead you to plenty of greens if you watch and follow closely. Unfortunately, I’ll be shooting video at a major annual event and will be able to follow but not tweet my picks. Enjoy the draft and get plenty of greens. Confidence Meter: 3

9:40- Memphis Grizzlies: After cruising in game 1, the LA Clippers needed a last-second shot from Chris Paul to win game two. Tonight they’ll lay game three in Memphis where the Grizz are 4 1/2 point favorites despite their 0-2 hole. Part of the reasoning for that line is the Grizz dominance at home during the season when they were 32-9. These teams played a seven game series last year and I think this is going to be a drawn-out series as well. LA did win at Memphis twice this regular season, but the Grizz defense will make that a tough task tonight. Confidence Meter: 4

10:10- Los Angeles Angels: The Angels visit the Mariners at Safeco looking for another solid start from Garrett Richards who is filling in for Jered Weaver. Last time out, Richards dominated for seven scoreless and got the win over Detroit. Things haven’t gone as well for Brandon Maurer who has a 7.45 ERA and a 1-3 record. Maurer and the M’s come home having dropped five of six on their road trip with an ERA of 6.61. The Angels are coming off a tough series with Texas, and I think they’ll be able to get to Maurer early and often getting the green. Confidence Meter: 6
