In the first Streak for the Cash user-submitted prop, Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant (35) will need to score five points in each of the first two quarters to green the masses flocking to his side of the prop. ESPN’s Streak for the Cash gets a facelift as we get started with the month of May getting some sweet new features including the forfeit button, access to all-time records, and fan-submitted matchups. It should be another great month of picks with the NHL and NBA playoffs rolling along as well as the usual picks from Major League Baseball and plenty of soccer options. The fan-submitted picks should also give us more options to get some green all month long.

There’s 22 picks on the board already and there should be plenty of solid options to get wins throughout the day today. Here’s the picks I like the most today:

5/1 Streak Picks

2:45- Barcelona win: Much like yesterday’s Real Madrid game, Barcelona needs to win big to even have a chance of moving on. Bayern put a beatdown on them 4-0 in the first leg and should cruise into the final. Barcelona should be able to score one or two getting the green, but I think we’re headed toward an all-German final. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

3:35- Oakland Athletics: The A’s go for their second sweep of their AL West rivals this afternoon as they take on the Angels in Oakland. The A’s walked off in game won and put 10 runs on the board again last night winning in just nine innings 10-6. They’ll send Tommy Milone to the mound this afternoon who is 3-2 with a 3.38 ERA this season. This will be his first outing against LA this season after posting a 2-1 record with a 4.80 ERA in three starts against them last year. Today, he’ll be opposed by CJ Wilson who enters with a 4.30 ERA and a 2-0 record after taking a no-decision against Oakland the first time he faced them allowing four runs in six innings. Milone at home is a solid option for Oakland and the Angels pitching staff is a mess right now so I think the A’s win again and move to 6-0 on the year against LA. Confidence Meter: 4

7:05- Philadelphia Phillies: The Phils send Cliff Lee to the mound against his former team in Cleveland as they try and atop the offensive juggernaut that the Tribe have suddenly morphed into over the past few games. Lee is off to a solid start this year and will be opposed in this one by Indians prospect Trevor Bauer. Bauer  struggled in his only Major League outing so far this season and the Phillies have Delmon Young back giving them a boost offensively. I expect Philadelphia to get the win, but the Tribe bats are a little scary to pick against right now. Confidence Meter: 3

7:05- Boston Bruins: The Bruins stumbled a bit at the end of the regular season but still have home-ice advantage as they welcome in Toronto for their first round series in the NHL Playoffs. Toronto has lost 11 of their last 13 trips to TD Garden and nine of their last ten to Boston. Expect plenty of talk about the Phil Kessel trade and a hard-hitting, defensive-focused series. Home ice for Boston will be big and I think they’ll get the win tonight over Toronto in what should be a long series. Confidence Meter: 4

7:07- Boston Red Sox: After having their winning streak snapped last night in Toronto, the Red Sox again face the Jays as they try to get Clay Buccholz his sixth win in six starts. Buccholz is 5-0 with an impressive 1.19 ERA as he faces off with Mark Buehrle. Buehrle’s ERA is over six after getting knocked around by the Yankees his last time out as he took his first loss of the season dropping him to 1-1. When you factor in that Clay has a 1.27 ERA and a 6-0 record in his last seven starts at Rogers Centre, Buccholz and the Red Sox are a solid pick as they try to start May on the right track after a surprisingly good April. Confidence Meter: 6

7:10- Knicks win by Double digits: Everything went right for Boston in the last game, and they still needed overtime to extend the series. New York is back at home now, they’ll get J.R. Smith back, and ‘Melo is bound to hit more shots than he did in game four. I think game four will be a template on how to beat New York which will happen in the next round after they cruise past Boston tonight. The Knicks average margin of victory in their three wins has been over 12 and I think today they win by 10+. As a Celtics fan Id love to see them make a game of this, but as a SFTC analyst I think the Knicks win by double digits. Confidence Meter: 5 1/2

7:11- Knicks Halftime Lead: The Knicks have actually trailed at halftime in two of the first four games. If you’re looking for a quicker pick, this first half prop is the way to go, but Boston has had trouble closing in the second half in the series and could hang with NY for these first two quarters. It really comes down to how/when the Knicks outside shooting heats up. Confidence Meter: 3 1/2

8:05- San Diego Padres: The Padres and Cubs have split the first two games in their four-game set. Tonight, San Diego sends former-Cub Andrew Cashner to the mound against Scott Feldman. Feldman is just 1-3 but has a decent 3.92 ERA in his first year in Chicago. The Padres offense looked good last night and I think they’ll keep it rolling tonight against Feldman tonight at Wrigley. Confidence Meter: 4

Indiana defeats Atlanta 113-98. Mandatory Credit: Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

8:05- Pacers Winning Margin: The Pacers and Hawks come in even at two wins apiece in their first round series with the home team winning every game so far in this series. Indiana hasn’t won in Atlanta since 2006, but cruised to 17 and 15 point wins at home in games one and two. They will look to protect home court advantage tonight in game 5 where they’re favored by seven. I think they win by double-digits against the bi-polar Hawks and cover this prop with relative ease. Confidence Meter: 5

9:40- San Francisco Giants: San Francisco goes for the sweep of the Snakes at Chase Field tonight as they send Tim Lincecum to the mound against Brandon McCarthy. McCarthy has struggled this year allowing almost a run per inning on his way to a 7.48 ERA and an 0-3 start. Lincecum has been uneven but has pitched better lately although Arizona has been able to get to him in their most recent matchups (none this season). Lincecum has been pithing the better of the two starters lately, and the Giants bats have been heating up in the desert, so I think the Giants finish the sweep tonight. Confidence Meter: 5

9:46- Yes Durant scored 5+ in both Quarters: In the first user-submitted prop, it’s whether Durant can put in five in each of the first two quarters. It almost seems to easy of a pick, but barring injury or an absolute blow out this would seem to be a lock. Confidence Meter: 10 (only the threat of the 99+% curse scares me a little)

10:10- Colorado Rockies: The Rockies send Juan Nicasio to the mound tonight in the rubber game of their three game set against the Dodgers. They’ll face Josh Beckett who comes in 0-3 with a 4.75 ERA and has been bothered again this year by the long ball. Colorado has played well early in the season and should get Troy Tuolwitzki back for tonight’s game getting their most potent, home run-hitting lineup together for the last game of their road tri pas they look to take the series from LA. Confidence Meter: 3

10:10- Baltimore Orioles: The O’s look to win their series as well as they face the Mariners. They’ll turn to Wei-Yin Chen who has been excellent in his last two starts. Chen has won both games while allowing just one run on five hits and striking out seven in 14 innings of work. He hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in any of his five starts while pitching at least 5.2 innings. He’ll be opposed in this one by Aaron Harang wh has been on the opposite end of the spectrum allowing 13 runs in just 7.2 innings over his last two starts. His 0-3 record and ERA over 11 should give the O’s a chance to finish their West Coast swing with a win and Streak for the Cash entries a good chance to end the day with a green. Confidence Meter: 6
