The May 11 Streak for the Cash board is well-stocked with picks from early soccer, the NBA Playoffs, the NHL Playoffs, and a full day of Major League baseball. There’s some solid picks throughout the day to build your streak on your way to the streak sta$he. Here’s the picks I’ll be following on this Saturday:

5/11 Streak Picks

7:45- Chelsea win: Chelsea has been in good form lately winning four of their last five overall and are looking to secure a top-4 finish in the Premier League. Today they travel to Villa Park to take on Aston Villa who has battled their way out of the relegation zone by going 3-1-1 in their last five. Villa got crushed at Chelsea earlier this season 8-0 and will be out for revenge, but the game means too much for Chelsea to shrug it off so I think they’ll get another win in this one. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:15- Man City by 2+ goals: This is the FA Cup final and after clinching a Champions League spot with a top-4 finish in the Premier League, City has a change to hoist a cup if they can dispatch Wigan. Wigan is still in a relegation battle in the EPL with just a 9-8-19 record including a pair of losses to Man City. Those two games were close (2-0, 1-0), but I think Man City has more of a focus on this match and that they cruise to the cup. Confidence Meter: 4 (only because I have to give a goal)

1:35- Philadelphia Union win/draw: The Union travel to Chicago and get the draw as they take on the Fire. Chicago is just 2-1-5 overall this season while Phily is 3-3-3. The Union are 2-1-2 on the road while Chicago is 2-0-2 at home. This really could go either way, which means I’ll take the draw and the Union. Confidence Meter: 5

4:05- San Francisco Giants: The Giants and Braves face off for the third game in their four-game set after splitting the first two games. The Giants took last night’s game 8-2 behind Matt Cain and look to continue playing well and earn their eighth win in their last 11. They’ll face Paul Maholm in this one who has struggled in AT&T Park with a 0-2 record and a 4.76 ERA in five career starts. The Giants will counter with Madison Bumgarner who is usually excellent at home. I think the Giants get another win in this one. Confidence Meter: 6

5:05- Memphis Grizzlies: The Grizzlies have the momentum after their game two win, and they’re favored by five at home. Memphis was 32-9 at home this year and is relatively healthy while the Thunder are without Russell Westbrook. The only reason to pick the Thunder-and it’s a big one-is Kevin Durant. KD is amazing, but can he win in Memphis virtually by himself? I don’t think he can when Memphis is at home and their defense is as good as it was in game two. Confidence Meter: 5

7:05- Pittsburgh Penguins: The Penguins looked like the #1 seed after making the move to backup goalie Tomas Vokoun and taking game five 4-0 at home. They really should have been able to roll over the Isles but played poorly in the games in the middle of the series. Pittsburgh’s the better team and should be able to dispatch the scrappy Islanders in game six. Confidence Meter: 7

7:10- Baltimore Orioles: The Orioles turn to Steve Johnson making his first start in the Majors this year as they take on the Twins in Minnesota. Johnson made four starts last year going 3-0 with a 2.86 ERA but lost the fifth starter competition this spring. He hasn’t dazzled at Triple-A but gets his chance after Miguel Gonzalez had to hit the DL. He’ll face off with Vance Worley who comes in 0-4 with a 6.95 ERA. Baltimore has won five of their last six after a comeback win last night and should be able to grab another W tonight. Confidence Meter: 6

7:10- Chicago White Sox: The Angels are at the Cell for another game against the last place White Sox. La had to rely on their bullpen heavily after getting only 3 1/3 innings from Barry Enright last night. They battled back and got the win but are still just 6-13 on the road. The White Sox are 7-8 at home and send Jose Quintana to the mound who threw four no-hit innings in his last start before the wheels came of in the fifth. He’ll look to improve on his 2-0 record with a 3.86 ERA. Quintana is a solid option while the Angels haven’t been able to string together wins, so I think the White Sox get the green here. Confidence Meter: 4

8:05- Indiana Pacers: The Pacers are four-point favorites as they return home where they were 30-11 this season and should be able to beat the Knicks tonight. Indiana earned a split at MSG and now return home looking to show they’re ready to defend their home court. The Knicks blew Indiana away in the second half, but the Pacers have been the better team for the whole series but the one quarter where they suddenly forgot how to score. Confidence Meter: 6

9:10- Seattle Mariners: The Mariners took the first game of this AL West three-game series last night 6-3 and look to extend the A’s road losing streak to seven with another win tonight. The M’s will turn to Brandon Maurer who has been inconsistent this year, but has shown potential while the A’s counter with Jarrod Parker who showed huge upside last season but has struggled so far this year. Parker is 1-5 with a 7.34 ERA while Maurer enters the game 2-4 with a 6.07 ERA. Seattle has been playing better than most expected winning nine of their last 13 games. The main 1-2 punch of Felix Hernandez and Hisashi Iwakuma have been excellent and getting consistent production from Maurer would be a huge step forward. I’m not sure either starter lasts long in this one, but Seattle is playing better baseball as of late so I’ll take them for the win. Confidence Meter: 5

9:30- No at least 1 team doesn’t score 48+ points in 2nd half: In game one, the Knicks scored 49 and the Pacers 50. In game two, the Pacers only scored 37 and the Knicks 58. In the four regular season games, no would have been the winning side of this prop all four times. The Pacers defense should be back with a vengeance tonight and I think the game will be under with at least one team under 100 meaning no in this prop. Confidence Meter: 4
