Sunday night is quite the main course on Streak for the Cash as Sunday night Baseball is joined by game 2 of the NBA Finals. There’s plenty of action if your looking to get started earlier in the day too with options from Major League and NCAA baseball as well as some soccer, a NASCAR pick, and the French Open Men’s final if they can avoid the rain. Here’s my picks for today:

6/9 Streak Picks

9:00- Egypt Win: Egypt can secure the top spot in their group already even though its early in group play. They’ve dominated going 3-0-0 including beating Zimbabwe 2-1 in their most recent game. On the other hand, Zimbabwe has only one point in its first six games and are on the verge of being eliminated. Even on the road, I think Egypt makes a strong pick. Confidence Meter: 6

9:10- AOR: In the Men’s Final at Roland Garros, it’s Rafa Nadal against his fellow-Spaniard David Ferrer. Ferre and Nadal have met 25 times in the past and Nadal owns an impressive 20-5 series lead. Their last six meetings have all been on clay where both prefer to play and have all been won by Nadal. However, the last two both required three sets (in non-majors meaning Nadal lost one). Nadal is also coming off a grueling match against Novak Djokovic and could be fatigued. It’s impossible to know for sure, but I think Ferrer gets at least a set before Nadal takes the win. Confidence Meter: 4

12:00- Netherlands U21 win: The Dutch U21 team pulled out an impressive win over Germany and now take on Russia. The Russians lost 1-0 to Spain in their first game in Israel meaning a draw won’t help them much, so they’ll need to press for the win. That will only allow opportunities for the Oranje in the counter-attack which I think leads to a fairly easy win for the Netherlands which will be their seventh in a row. Confidence Meter: 6

1:05- South Carolina wins or loses by 1: UNC escaped game one against South Carolina winning 6-5 despite allowing 15 hits. As frustrating as losing that game was for the Gamecocks, I think they’ll bounce back and get the win today. UNC has a tendency to win games close and late with walkoffs which would also mean this side of the prop is the way to go. Confidence Meter: 4

1:08- Cleveland Indians: The Indians look to salvage a win from their three-game series in Detroit as they turn to their ace Justin Masterson. Masterson has been bad on the road lately, but is sthill 8-4 with a 3.57 ERA on the season. He’ll be opposed by Jose Alvarez who comes up to take Anibal Sanchez’s place in the rotation. The Indians have been struggling, but I think Masterson wills serve as stopped and get them a win today. Confidence Meter: 3

2:30- Spain U21 Win: Germany desperately needs a win, but I think they’ll fall short against the powerhouse that is Spain’s soccer team. Spain hasn’t allowed a goal in nine of their last ten matches and went unbeaten during qualifying. Spain is really good, but its always hard to confindently give a draw. Confidence Meter: 5

4:05- Vanderbilt wins by 2 runs or more: Vandy  was shocked yesterday on a pinch-hit two-run single by Matt Helms who had just three RBI all season before that. The Commodores are the #2 ranked team in the nation and should be able to bounce back. Facing elimination, I think they’ll get the win against the plucky Cardinals today. Confidence Meter: 5

4:10- Arizona Diamondbacks: Arizona battled back last night but fell short as they lost 10-4. Today they’ll look to bounce back as they send Tyler Skaggs to the mound against San Francisco’s Chad Gaudin. Skaggs was great in his first start of the season at home but struggled in his second outing which was on the road in St. Louis. I think he’ll bounce back against the Giants, and I don’t think Gaudin has another start as good as his last one in him. Confidence Meter: 4

8:05- Miami Heat: Miami hasn’t lost back-to-back games in five months. The panic is overblown right now which most likely means it’ll correct tonight as Miami runs away with this one. I do think the Spurs win the series, but I think Miami pulls itself together and rights the ship at home. Confidence Meter: 7

8:06- LeBron James or Tony Parker: This user-submitted prop asks who will get to 10 points first. LeBron is the most likely outcome in my opinion since he’s going to come out and be extremely aggressive. There are other players that could easily hit double-figures first. D-Wade, Tim Duncan, Manu, or even a roll player that hets got. However, since these are the two guys with the ball in their hand most of the time I’ll take them to get to ten first. Confidence Meter: 3

8:07- St. Louis Cardinals: The Cardinals took the loss yesterday but still have the best record in baseball as they look to win this series. They’ll send Lance Lynn to the mound who is 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA in his last three starts. David Freese and Matt Carpenter both have long hitting streaks as they power a potent Cards offense that will face Bronson Arroyo who is 6-5 with a 3.38 ERA on the season but is coming off a good start where he shut out Colorado for eight innings. I  don’t thikn he’ll be able to do the same against St. Louis tonigh. Confidence Meter: 6

9:30- No Neither team scores 50+: Pick subject to change based on gameflow, but game one was 43-36 in the second half. Confidence Meter: 4
