As we near the end of the month, this Wednesday has plenty of picks to get your Streak for the Cash entry headed to your goals. Wimbledon and the FIFA U-20 World Cup get us started today with a Confederations Cup Semifinals and some early Major League Baseball joining them on the afternoon slate. Tonight, there are more soccer options from the US Open Cup and a full baseball schedule.  I’ll keep my picks brief with a look at where each pick ranks on the confidence meter on a scale of 1-10.

6/26 Streak Picks

Jun 1, 2013; Paris, France; Victoria Azarenka (BLR) during her match against Alize Cornet (FRA) on day seven of the 2013 French Open at Roland Garros. Mandatory Credit: Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

8:10- 17 Games or Fewer: This is a total games prop for #2 Azarenka vs. Flavia Pennetta. Penetta knocked off Azarenka back in 2011 in Dubai but they have not met in the last two years. Azarenka won 6-1, 6-2 in her first round matchup and I think she’ll win this quickly but it will be close to this number. Confidence Meter: 3

11:00- Chile U20 win: Chile’s U20 went beat Egypt 2-1 in their first game while England only managed a 2-2 draw with Iraq. A draw is a definite possibility, but I think Chile will win 2-1. Confidence Meter: 5

12:10- Toronto Blue Jays: R.A. Dickey was solid in his first outing at the Trop and looks to get the Blue Jays back on track after they’ve dropped the first two tames in his series after winning 11 in a row. Confidence Meter: 4

12:15- Stakhovsky 2nd + 3rd set Games won or tie: Stakhovsky takes on Roger Federer in this prop. It’s Federer’s 1st Set Games won (probably six, possibly seven) against Stakhovsky’s total from 2nd and third set. The two met two years ago in Dubai and Feds won 6-3, 6-4. I think 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 is likely again with possibly a 6-4 which would make Stakhovsky’s the side to pick. Stakhovsky played well winning in the first round 6-3, 6-2, 6-0. Confidence Meter: 5

3:00- Brazil wins by 2+ Goals: Brazil has put on quite the show in this Confederations Cup and have been scoring in bunches. Uruguay is solid, but Brazil has been good enough to make me comforatable giving the goals. Confidence Meter: 4

3:40- Seattle Mariners: Felix Hernandez vs Jeanmar Gomez fresh off the DL-that is all. Confidence Meter: 6

7:00- New England Revolution: The Revs have take on DC in the quarterfinals after playing to a 0-0 draw two weeks ago in DC. In MLS play, DC is a horrible 2-3-11 while the Revs are 5-5-5. There will be OT and a shootout, so the pick is who will advance with no draw option. Confidence Meter: 3

7:05- Washington Nationals: Jordan Zimmermann has been excellent at home. He’ll be opposed by a struggling Wade Miley who has allowed three runs or more in six straight starts. In one of those starts five runs were unearned, but the long ball has hounded him all season. Confidence Meter: 7

8:10- Milwaukee Brewers: Yovani Gallardo has been good for the Brewers lately and they’re at home against the perennially struggling Cubs. Confidence Meter-5.

8:10- Atlanta Braves: Mike Minor has struggled a bit lately, but I still think he’ll outpitch Luis Mendoza. The Royals still can’t find their offense. Confidence Meter-6

10:10- LA Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw owns the Giants in his last three starts with a 2-0 record and a 0.75 ERA. The Dodgers bullpen is scary as we were reminded last night, but they did hold on to win and are going for the three-game sweep tonight. Confidence Meter: 5
