Sunday wraps up a great holiday weekend with a solid board of picks on ESPN Streak for the Cash. There’s picks today from Wimbledon Gentleman’s Final, the 2013 University Games Water Polo match in Russia, and the U-20 World Cup to get us started today. This afternoon there’s more U-20 World Cup action along with a full slate of MLB options and a WNBA game as well. Tonight there’s plenty of soccer and Sunday Night Baseball between the Angels and Red Sox. There’s plenty of ways to build a streak today, so get your greens from these picks:

7/7 Streak Picks

Jul 5, 2013; London, United Kingdom; Novak Djokovic (SRB) during his match against Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) (not pictured) on day 11 of the 2013 Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Djokovic won 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-7 (6), 6-3. Mandatory Credit: Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

9:10- Novak Djokovic: Djokovic holds an 11-7 head-to-head advantage including winning the last three matchups. However, the only grass meeting happened last year in the olympics held in the same venue as this final and Murray won 7-5, 7-5. I expect this to be a close match and would love to see Murray win since it would mean so much to the fans. However, as one of my readers commented yesterday, “As a Brit I know the media and fans in Britain put too much pressure on Murray and tbh he doesn’t have the mental strength to beat Djoker at Wimbledon! He may win a set or 2 but Djoker will always come back!” Confidence Meter: 6

11:00- South Korea U20: South Korea and Iraq meet in the quarter-finals as both look to continue their surprise runs in the U20 World Cup. These two squad know each other well after meeting in the AFC U-19 final last year. That match ended in penalty kicks with S. Korea getting the win after equalizing in the last minute or so. I think it’ll be another extremely close game, but I think once against Korea gets the win. Confidence Meter: 3

1:05- New York Yankees: The Yankees take on the O’s going for the sweep behind Hiroki Kuroda. New York has won six in a row and looks to beat Jason Hammel after losing to him twice earlier this season. Hammel has struggled recently though going 0-3 with a 5.55 ERA in his last six starts. I think Kuroda and the Yanks get the win and close out the sweep at home this afternoon. Confidence Meter: 4

1:05- Atlanta Braves: The Braves crushed Phily last night 13-4 and look to take the ruber game of the series this afternoon behind Kris Medlen. Medlen has gone 5-1 with a 2.50 in his last six starts, but he’ll be opposed by Jonathan Pettibone  who has also been good lately going 1-0 with a 2.55 ERA in his last three outings. I expect a low-scoring game, but the Braves offense has been streaky all season and last night’s big win should get them rolling. Confidence Meter: 4 1/2

2:00- Chile U20: Chile is the favorite as they take on the defending U-20 champion Ghana. The Chilean offense has been excellent and their offense has been one of the best at the U-20 championship and I think it’ll be enough to get them past Ghana’s own solid attack. Confidence Meter: 5

2:10- Oakland Athletics: The A’s and Royals play the rubber game of their three-game series this afternoon at the K. Luis Mendoza will be on the hill for the Royals looking to improve on his recent form which has seen him struggle to an 0-1 record with a 5.74 ERA. He’ll be opposed by A.J. Griffin who has been brilliant at times this season but struggled in his last start. Griffin has been good, Mendoza has been bad. Oakland has been rolling while the Royals have scuffled. The Royals could win at home, but I think it’s more likely that the A’s get the win behind another solid outing from Griffin. Confidence Meter: 6

5:30- Canada wins by 2+ Goals: Canada opens Gold Cup play against Martinique and will be out to get their interim coach Colin Miller his first international win. Martinique is really a mystery team especially since FIFA doesn’t recognize them as a separate entity since their a French territory. Canada is in transition, and Martinique is unknown making this a tricky pick. I’m familiar with more of the Canadian players, and I think they’ll be motivated so I’ll take them to win by two or more, but not very confidently. Confidence Meter: 3

8:07- Boston Red Sox: The Red Sox look to bounce back from a tough loss last night as they send John Lackey back to the  mount against his old team the Angels. He’s been excellent so far this season and could definitely be considered the current ace of the Red Sox staff since Lester has struggled and Buccholz is injured. He takes on the new ace of the Angels Jered Weaver who has struggled lately going 1-3 in his last five starts against Boston and snapping a five-game winless streak in his last outing in which he beat the Cardinals. Confidence Meter: 5

8:08- 15 Pitches or more: The Red Sox typically work the count and Weaver averages over 15 pitches per inning this season. It’s no lock since anything could happen, but it looks like over’s a strong pick. Confidence Meter: 6

8:35- Red Sox or Tie: The first two innings will be a good indication of how the two pitchers are dealing. If it’s close the tie could definitely come into play, so the Red Sox are a slight leader before the games starts, but this pick could definitely change once the game starts. I’ll let you know on twitter @FantasyCPR if it does. Confidence Meter: 3

Jun 29, 2013; Palo Alto, CA, USA; Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Landon Donovan (10) controls the ball against the San Jose Earthquakes during the second half at Stanford Stadium. San Jose Earthquakes defeated Los Angeles Galaxy 3-2. Mandatory Credit: Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

10:35- LA Galaxy win: The Galaxy are 5-2-1 at home as they host the Western Conference’s second-seeded team, FC Dallas. Dallas is great at home, but on the road are just 1-2-5. Since the game is in LA, I think the Galaxy can get the win. Confidence Meter: 5
