This Monday before Christmas keeps the Streak for the Cash options coming with over 20 picks from across the spectrum of sports giving us a nice, varied slate of options to keep the green flowing headed into the Christmas Day stunt day mid-week. Things get started this afternoon with a Greek Super League soccer match followed by a huge EPL match between Chelsea and Arsenal with props for both halves as well as a full-game pick. In the middle of all the soccer is the Monday afternoon Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl as East Carolina takes on Ohio in St. Petersburg in one of the more obscure bowl games. Tonight is the usual winter blend of sports with a college basketball prop mixed with some NBA and NHL options as well. The $treak fan Matchup of the day comes from tonight’s Monday Night Football game which is the final regular season game at Candlestick Park as the 49ers close out their historic stadium taking on Atlanta.

Here are my quick picks for today’s Streak picks with a one sentence explanation of my pick. I also included my confidence in each on a scale of 1-10 with higher numbers representing more confident picks.

12/23 Streak Picks

12:30- Giannina Win: Aris Salonik is 2-5-9 on the year and Giannina is 6-0-2 at home. 6

Nov 5, 2013; Buffalo, NY, USA; Ohio Bobcats quarterback Tyler Tettleton (4) is chased by Buffalo Bulls linebacker Jarrett Franklin (36) during the second half at University of Buffalo Stadium. Buffalo beat Ohio 30-3. Mandatory Credit: Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

2:03- Any Other Result (Ohio): Ohio has won bowl games the last two postseasons and should be able to keep this close in what should be a pretty high-scoring, entertaining game. 4

3:00- Chelsea win or draw: Chelsea has earned at least a draw in 13 of their 16 EPL games, and Arsenal is coming off back-to-back losses to Man City and Napoli. 5

3:01- No Neither team leads by 2+ Goals in 1H: I think it’ll be a tight one which is one reason I want the draw with Chelsea. 3 1/2

4:02- Chelsea or No Goal: Since I like Chelsea and get the no goal as well, this is the side I’ll take in this prop. 3

7:03- Any Other Result (Morehead State): Tennessee is tough to figure out: when they win they typically win by a lot, but they’ve dropped their last two, and Morehead State has only lost one game by a large margin and stayed within 11 of UCLA on the road. 5

Dec 21, 2013; Uniondale, NY, USA; Anaheim Ducks left wing Matt Belesky (39) takes a shot against New York Islanders goaltender Evgeni Nabokov (20) during the third period at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Mandatory Credit: Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

7:05- Anaheim Ducks: Bruce Boudreau returns to face his former club with the Ducks looking to win their ninth in a row. 6

7:05- Orlando Magic: The Knicks are a mess as they travel to the Magic Kingdom where Orlando has a similar record but seem to be trending in a much better direction. 4

7:05- Cleveland Cavs: I’ll take Kyrie and the Cavs at home where they’ve won five of their last six. 3

7:05- Carolina Hurricanes: Columbus started hot but have struggled lately and will be without Marian Gaborik tonight as they face the Hurricanes who are decent at home. 5 1/2

7:05- New York Rangers: Coming off a nice win yesterday, the Rangers host Toronto who have dropped nine of their last ten on the road. 3

7:35- Pittsburgh Penguins: The Penguins are in great form (12-1-1 in their last 14) and the Senators have been struggling even at home. 6 1/2

7:35- Philadelphia Flyers: The Wild went down 4-1 in New York just yesterday and are just 2-4 in their last six while dropping seven of their last eight on the road. 4 1/2

7:35- Tampa Bay Lightning: The Lightning have won their last four overall and have taken both meeting against their in-state rivals the Panthers this season. 5

8:05- Boston Bruins: The Bruins are great at home but have had their struggles on the road as they travel to Nashville where they’ll face the Predators who have dropped three in a row. 4

8:40- 49ers win by 15+ Points: 15 is a lot of points to give, but the Falcons have been horrible this season and won’t be able to keep up with a motivated San Francisco team. 6

8:41- 23 Completions or More: The Falcons and Niners should both be able to complete passes, but expect this to be very close to the number either way. 2

9:05- Golden State Warriors: Iguodala returns to Denver with his new team to face the Nuggets who have dropped three in a row while the Warriors has won two of their last three. 5

9:35- Edmonton Oilers: I think the Oilers will snap their six-game losing streak against the Jets who have also been struggling and lost last night in Vancouver to fall to 2-4-1 in their last seven. 3

Dec 21, 2013; Orlando, FL, USA; Sacramento Kings small forward Rudy Gay (8) shoots as Orlando Magic power forward Andrew Nicholson (44) and small forward Maurice Harkless (21) defend during the second half at Amway Center. Sacramento Kings defeated the Orlando Magic 105-100. Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

10:05- Sacramento Kings: The Kings come home after beating Orlando to finish their 1-3 East Coast swing, and they’ll host the Pelicans who have dropped four in a row on their West Coast trip. 4 1/2

10:15- Yes 1+ 49ers TDs in both 3Q and 4Q: Unless the game is completely out of reach for Atlanta and the ‘Niners take their foot off the gas they should be able to get in the end zone in both quarters. 4
