♦ The Knicks’ Tyson Chandler (illness) has been officially ruled out of tonight’s game vs. the Suns. It will be the fifth-consecutive game the Knicks’ center has missed with this mysteriously illness. I don’t know about you, but if I’m coming into contact with him, I’d be making sure I was vaccinated first. Kenyon Martin will continue to start and get decent playing time. In the four games Chandler has missed, Martin is averaging 8.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 27.5 minutes. He’s available in 100% of ESPN.com fantasy leagues.
♦ Celtics coach Brad Stevens has shifted his starting lineup around for tonight. After playing so well off the bench last two games (17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds), Jared Sullinger will re-enter Boston’s starting five. He will join the red-hot Kris Humphries, who has averaged 11.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and one steal in his last four games. The former Mr. Kim Kardashian is available in 88.7 percent of ESPN.com leagues
♦ Tyler Hansbrough is out for the Raptors tonight, meaning Patrick Patterson should continue to get productive minutes. Patterson is averaging 14.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and a block per game over his last five. He’s draining 1.2 threes during that span, which is nice for a player who is power forward-eligible. Patterson is available in almost 99 percent of ESPN.com leagues.
♦ There have been no updates on the status of Gordon Hayward (hip) since our last report. As of now, owners should expect him to be on the sidelines for the Jazz’s game against the Nuggets. Alec Burks (86.4 percent available on ESPN.com) is the obvious pickup if you’re looking for a replacement. He scored 16 points in Hayward’s absence on Friday.
