It looks like fantasy basketball owners might finally be in the clear with Gordon Hayward and his nagging hip flexor injury, but another Jazz player has popped up in the injury report — and it’s Derrick Favors, with, you guessed it, a right hip abductor strain.  It’s important as an owner that you don’t have any injured players sitting in your lineup for Tuesday’s games, so make sure to check Favors’ status prior to tip-off.

» The Jazz should get Hayward back tonight, and fantasy owners should be ecstatic.  In his last game before sitting out the past five, the fourth-year shooting guard scored a career-high 37 points.  If you picked up Alec Burks while he was out you got some nice production, but he’ll return to a bench role when Utah reinserts Hayward and his 17.1 points per game back in the starting lineup

» Just as Utah is getting Hayward back it looks like the they might be without their starting power forward, Favors.  The 22-year-old had dealt with a hip issue earlier in the year and it appears as if it might’ve flared up again.  He’ll be a game-time decision, but there’s no need for the Jazz to rush him back.  Favors himself sounds like he will err on the side of caution saying, “I have to listen to my body and listen to the trainers.  It’s a long season.”  If Favors can’t go, owners should look to add Enes Kanter, who is averaging 13.1 points and 7.3 rebounds over his last 10 games.  Kanter is available in 59 percent of ESPN.com fantasy leagues.
