It’s Saturday, but the grind doesn’t stop — ever!!!

I made sure to bring you a nice little lineup card to make Saturday night’s games a little more exciting.  I found a lot of value in tonight’s games so feel free to add these players to all your daily fantasy baseball rosters.

All prices are based on Draft Kings values.

SP 1 – Alex Wood, Atlanta Braves, $6700 – Wood and his Atlanta Braves are going up against the Washington Nationals.  Wood is a deceptive left-handed pitcher who was considered a sleeper coming into the season.  His price is still in the range of a relief pitcher, but Wood averages 20.2 fantasy points per game, so we need to pounce on this value play today.

SP 2 – Yovani Gallardo, Milwaukee Brewers, $9,200 – Gallardo has looked great so far this season and he’s going up the Pittsburgh Pirates, who he’s enjoyed a lot of success against in his career.  At $9,200, this gives us plenty of breathing room when building our offense, so let’s hope for another great start out of Gallardo.

C – Jason Castro, Houston Astros, $3,800 – Castro is will face Texas Rangers’ righty Tanner Scheppers, a guy who I have no faith in.  Castro is a righty, and usually bats third or cleanup in the Astros’ lineup, giving him plenty of opportunities to drive in runs.  This is more than I’d usually like to pay for a catcher, but I like this matchup.

1B- Chris Davis, Baltimore Orioles, $4,700 – I am not really fond of the 1B options tonight.  Davis should do pretty well against Jays’ starter Drew Hutchison, though.  Maybe today will be the day he finally goes yard?

2B- Robinson Cano, Seattle Mariners, $4,000 – When Cano is priced at $4,000, you take him, no matter who he is facing (Sonny Gray, Oakland Athletics).

3B- Anthony Rendon, Washington Nationals, $4,400 – This play contradicts taking Alex Wood, but Rendon really sees the ball well against Wood.  You can’t expect your pitcher to throw a perfect game, so don’t be afraid to take batters he is facing.

SS – Jimmy Rollins, Philadelphia Phillies, $3,700 – I really love Rollins’ price today.  Every year we expect a huge drop off from Rollins, and every year he makes us eat our words.  Facing Nate Eovaldi and the Marlins, it’s the perfect matchup for Rollins.

OF 1 – Curtis Granderson, New York Mets, $4,500 – Granderson has five home runs in 27 at bats against Weaver.  This is a no brainer.

OF 2 – Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers, $4,500 – Historically Kemp has owned D-Backs’ starter Wade Miley.  I like that the game is in Arizona (a great hitters’ ballpark), so this is more of an advantage for Kemp.

OF 3 – Alex Rios, Texas Rangers, $4,000 – Vegas expects this game to be a slugfest, and I expect Rios to get out of this hitting slump he’s currently in.  This is a great price for a power/speed combo guy.  Take the Ranger tonight.
