With early games on Wednesday’s slate, it is important that you check the injury report and adjust your lineups accordingly as several fantasy stars have been given the day off during early action.
The first of which is Arizona Diamondbacks slugger Mark Trumbo.
Trumbo will be held out again Wednesday to give his sore foot another day of rest. The Diamondbacks have not said when he will play again, but he will likely have a chance to return to action in Thursday’s game.
This will be the second straight game Trumbo has missed.
Colorado Rockies superstar Carlos Gonzalez is also out of the lineup on Wednesday.
Gonzalez, who left Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies after the sixth inning, is day-to-day with knee tendinitis, but won’t make his return to the lineup today.
Finally in Oakland, Coco Crisp is out of the A’s linup against the Texas Rangers.
Crisp returned to the Oakland lineup on Tuesday, after injuring his right ribs while diving for a fly ball on Monday, and went 1-for-4 with an RBI, but is out of the lineup today.
Craig Gentry gets the start in center field and is batting leadoff for Oakland.
