Orioles Activate Manny Machado, Twins-Dodgers Rained Out

The Baltimore Orioles have activated third baseman Manny Machado from the disabled list, and he will start tonight at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The Orioles had originally decided to bring Machado back this weekend against the Minnesota Twins, but the injury to Chris Davis freed up a roster spot and expedited the process.  Machado has looked outstanding in his rehab assignments, and looks safe to get into your lineups today.  Those of you in daily leagues on FanDuel or DraftKings might want to wait before plugging him in to make sure he is 100 percent ready.  That and it is raining in Baltimore, which could put the status of the game up in the air.

The Los Angeles Dodgers at Minnesota Twins game has been postponed because of rain.  These two teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday.  The good thing is that there are no afternoon games today, so the  postponement early in the day gives you ample time to modify your lineups in daily leagues, or to pick up replacements for those of you in daily transaction leagues.

There is rain all across the country today, so be sure to check the status of games early and often to maximize the potential of your lineup today!
