Dallas Cowboys vs Baltimore Ravens
- Tony Romo had a nice showing last night. There didn’t seem to be any lingering signs from his back surgery. Romo went 4 of 5 for 80 yards and a touchdown. There is so much value in Tony Romo, despite him being drafted almost exclusively after the 10th round. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan should help boost his numbers up this year, and with the defense being as bad as they are, Tony will have to throw a lot to keep games close. That is good news for fantasy owners.
- DeMarco Murray ran well, finishing with 34 yards on eight carries along with one reception for 21 yards. He is still too risky of a pick for me. If he could stay healthy for a full season, he could very well crack the top 5. Staying healthy has always been a problem for him though.
- Dez Bryant will have a monster year. He had three receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown. I think he will finish the season as a top 3 receiver. He even has the potential to finish as the number one receiver with Scott Linehan now in the picture.
- Ray Rice looked good on his two carries, racking up 21 yards. He did leave the game with a minor shoulder injury, so keep your eyes on news out of the Ravens camp. Any setbacks only help Bernard Pierce at this point.
