Fantasy Football might be the only thing that defense isnt the most important aspect of it. That being said, if you can grab a top notch defense, it will make a difference. One of the biggest changes in value year to year comes at the Defense position. With so many new staffs bringing in better talent, defenses jump and fall every fantasy football season. Take the Tennesee Titans and New York Jets. The Titans have lost Albert Haynesworth and could possibly fall out of the top ten production wise. Their defensive coordinator has taken on the challenge in Detroit (poor [...]

Fantasy Football is right around the corner and it is time for Fantasy CPR to unveil it’s full fledge rankings! Today we start with the quarterback. Earlier last week, I broke down my top ten quarterbacks for 2009. Now, here is a listing of the top 35 quarterbacks to watch in your fantasy draft. The quarterback is one of the most interesting positions in the draft. Over the last few years, beyond the top three to eight quarterbacks, the most valuable signal callers in fantasy have come after the seventh round. Training camp battles in Detroit, New York, and Cleveland [...]
When it comes to your fantasy football, the quarterback is the toughest position to guage. Not in terms of value per player, but simply the fact of where you are going to settle on your talent. Before the time of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees it was simple. Sit back and wait for your quarterback. The position was a pretty easy way to piggyback the other talent positions throughout the year.
That was until Tom Brady threw for 50 touchdowns , Drew Brees gathered nearly 300 fantasy points, and Peyton Manning has become one of the most consistent fantasy [...]
Atlanta Falcons fans and Fantasy owners alike loved what Michael Turner brought to the field. How couldn’t you? He gained 4.5 yards per carry. His 1,699 total rushing yards was second in the league to the unstoppable man in purple. It all started in week one against the Lions and throughout the year he remained consistent. Only once did he rush for less than 50 yards. He went over the century mark eight times. The Atlanta Falcons depended on him in the late months of the season, when Turner gained more rushing yards in November and December, than he did [...]
It’s an action packed tuesday! The NFL Dog Pack Commishoner’s office could throw the hammer down on troubled quarterback Mike Vick and Wide Receiver Plaxico Burress. Last week, Donte Stallworth got the news that hitting someone while your drunk does end up in punishment. The Good in Goodell suspended the troubled wide receiver indefinitely, and this time Stallworth can’t pay restitution.
In the NBA, Yao Ming’s career might be over. We will take a look at the options that he has going into the off-season. His foot injury might be career ending, but Yao sure has opened up the floodgates for [...]

It sure has been a while, hasn’t it? The Full Court Press has been on hiatus as of late, (hey if ARod has fatigue days as part of his work benefits, we do too?) but It is back. In full Digital Audio. Ok, so it isn’t HD ready, and it hasn’t been FDA approved, but hopefully our weekend analysis will help you out with the recent News.
Here are the Topics For Today’s Full Court Press:
Mark DeRosa to the Cardinals, Chris Perez to the Indians- Who got the better deal? How does this effect these players [...]
Just a few years ago, names like Marvin Harrison, Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson, Torry Holt and Donald Driver were must haves, or at least early targets when fantasy football drafts get underway. Now the draft class has revolutionized into a group of young stars. Teammates Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin dominate like teammates Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne did en route to the their super bowl championship. Greg Jennings has slowly become the go to guy in Green Bay, and up and coming Calvin Johnson has the ability to put yardage numbers similar to Torry Holt did in his prime. It’s a [...]
What does an blood alcohol level of .126, a black Bentley, and a chain of horrible decisions get you? Unfortunately for one family, it cost the life of 59 year old Mario Reyes. Unfortunately it only cost Browns Wide Receiver Donte Stallworth 30 days in prison, and an indefinite suspension by football commissioner Roger Goodell. Stallworth faced up to 15 years in prison, but after settling on a value of restitution estimated at anywhere between two and five million dollars, Stallworth walked away with less time in the slammer than Michael Vick. He will serve two years under house arrest, and eight years of probation after getting out [...]
