It’s that time of year again where yours truly sits back and just waits…  I hope for the boys of summer to return to the field as soon as possible. We look for the signs. Baseball fans know what I’m talking about. It’s the snow melting in the midwest. The Gloves popping in local parks. We listen to hear the sounds of America’s game during the summer as the sun begins to set.

Looking back at the Fantasy Football Top Ten

Over the holiday, I compiled my list of the top ten players in 2008, with the most value going int 2009. Overall, It was such an interesting season, that when you look at this Top ten, you might be surprised at some of the names on there.  But then again maybe not.  Let’s break it down!

After finishing 81-81 in 2008, the Cleveland Indians have been one of the most aggressive teams this off-season. One look at this roster has baseball fans and analysts thinking that this team has yet another chance to make a big run in 2009. The Value Meter: Matt Cassel in '09

New England has done it again. Drafted in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL draft, Matt Cassel was considered a throw away pick. He never started a game at the college level. Bill Belichek and company found out different though early in 2008 when Tom Brady went down and made many fantasy owners cry (literally, cry).
