There will be a Mock draft tab on the top bar which will have our latest look at what to expect in the draft for the next several months.

Robert Griffin III is the beginning of the intrigue surrounding the 2012 NFL Draft, but there's plenty of drama to fill all 7 rounds.
With the instant success of last year’s draft class, many will be looking at the draft looking for ways for their team to improve-both their real-world team and their fantasy team. Cam Newton and Andy Dalton both succeeded to differing degrees and T. J. Yates showed that even later round picks can prove very important for your team if injuries strike. In this mock, we’ll just do the first round, but I may try and expand to first 2 or 3 in a later version as more information becomes available and the overall picture becomes clearer. Since this is a site dedicated to fantasy sports, a quick analysis of the fantasy impact of the pick is given where applicable.

Clicking the link for the team will take you to the site on the Fansided network dedicated to that particular team and for daily draft-dedicated coverage visit nflmocks.com and withthefirstpick.com

1. Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck-QB-Stanford
Fantasy Impact: This is the obvious and correct choice for the Colts. The intriguing part of this pick and the offseason as a whole is what they decide to do with Peyton Manning. If Manning is still in town, Luck won’t have a ton of fantasy worth since he’ll probably be carrying a clipboard on the sidelines (which they don’t give point for). If the Colts move Manning either through trade, retirement, or cuts (shudder), Luck immediately becomes a QB2 with serious upside. This offense has weapons at receiver and TE that would allow Luck to succeed on some level right away. Much depends on the new coach…

2. Cleveland Browns (trade with St. Louis Rams)
Robert Griffin III-QB-Baylor
Fantasy Impact: RG3 makes a ton of sense for the Browns. They have the picks to make the deal and if they don’t they run the risk of getting jumped by either the Dolphins or the Redskins and RG3 being off the board. It’s a low-risk move for the Rams since they don’t need a franchise QB and will still have either Kalil or Blackmon at #4. … [visit site to read more]
