Dynasty league players, this one is for you. As we have reached the halfway point of the 2023 fantasy season, we are going to talk about player values going forward and how you can strike a great deal or sell off a player on a downward trend for a great price.

Roster evaluation is constant in dynasty, at least if you want to be competitive, so if any of these players are on your team, take note and if not, perhaps these are some players you want to give some thought into buying.

The NFL has its annual trade deadline on Tuesday at 4:00 pm EST, just in before the kids go out to do some trick-or-treating. Before all of that, let's look at some players you want in a dynasty league right now and those you should consider selling.

Will Levis, Tennessee Titans

Buy: Will Levis, Tennessee Titans

Remember when Will Levis sat in the green room all night long at the NFL Draft? It's hard to forget and many dynasty players followed suit in their drafts this year, taking the likes of Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson before him, just like the real thing.

But Levis made the most of his first opportunity on Sunday, throwing four touchdown passes against the Atlanta Falcons and looking absolutely terrific in the process. If you followed him in college, and as a dynasty player, you should have been, you'll remember him being considered the No. 1 overall pick in the draft at one point. There was a reason for that.

The Titans would be out of their minds not to stick with Levis going forward.

Sell: Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans

If we're buying Levis, we have to sell Ryan Tannehill. He could be a backup for the rest of this season and at 35 years old, his chances to be a starter in the league have to be dwindling. One idea that is interesting is the Minnesota Vikings striking a deal to acquire him ahead of the trade deadline, a move that would make sense with the season-ending injury suffered by Kirk Cousins.

But even if that were to come to fruition, it wouldn't guarantee him much beyond this season. If you have a QB needy team in your league, float them an offer for the former first-round pick.

Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints

Buy: Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints:

As discussed here, Shaheed is a guy I am going to find a way to get on my roster. If you are lucky enough to still be able to grab him off of waivers, get it done. But if you need to find a trade, get a decent offer while you can still get him at a reasonable rate.

Shaheed is emerging as a true deep threat and he is capable of making at least one big play per game, if not more.

Sell: Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy could certainly get it together soon as it's hard to jump off the wagon after three bad games, but questions about how good he actually is are becoming more and more legitimate.

Not long ago, you could have easily gotten a first-round pick in exchange for Purdy and if you have a strong QB situation, and could make that happen, I'd jump on it right now.

Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

Buy: Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

Kyren Williams is currently on injured reserve nursing an ankle injury but dynasty leagues are always marathons, not sprints and he was one of the best stories of the early fantasy season.

Williams has already rushed for 456 yards and six touchdowns this season and he added another through the air. But as a player who is still just 23 years old, his long-term projection in this offense is still quite good, mainly because the team doesn't have much depth at the position.

If you can get an impatient owner to trade him away for a reasonable price, he will pay dividends this season and into the future.

Sell: AJ Dillon, Green Bay Packers

AJ Dillon is a player that fantasy players have been waiting to see take off for some time now and it's looking less and less likely that he ever will. He's a good No. 2 option, but that's really all he is.

When Aaron Jones is out and he gets the lion's share of the carries, he actually plays worse, showing that he likely won't ever be a No. 1 running back. But if you have an owner in your league who still believes he can be, send him there.

Dillon is averaging just 3.1 yards per carry this season and has rushed for just one touchdown.

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

Buy: Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

Kincaid was likely a first-round pick in your draft this year unless you play in a league with less than 12 teams, so there isn't much convincing to do here. It seemed like a great fit when he was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the draft.

But getting more looks on Thursday night with Dawson Knox missing the game due to injury, he shined, scoring his first touchdown of the season. In a league where consistent tight end play is tough to come across, Kincaid would be a great option. Coming off his best game so far, he probably won't come cheap, if he comes at all, but if you need help at this position, I'd consider splurging a bit for this guy.

Sell: Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

A lot of QBs make the sell list here but there also are not a lot of guys on the Green Bay roster I'd be too excited to have right now, starting with their quarterback.

If you have Love, you either stashed him on your roster for some time patiently waiting for him to get his chance, or you took a chance and traded for him because the owner who had stashed him grew tired of waiting.

In either case, you can sell him now. The Packers are struggling mightily offensively and questions regarding whether or not Love is the right guy will only grow if that continues. I would see if there is a team in your league with a desperate QB situation, maybe the owner that just lost Cousins, and send an offer to see if you can get a bite.

George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers
Oct 22, 2023; Inglewood, California, USA; Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens (14) | Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers

If you have followed Fantasy CPR for any length of time, you may already know how high I am on Pickens. He is as talented as any receiver in the league and even without Kenny Pickett (if he misses any time), he shouldn't take much of a hit in terms of chances.

But there might be someone in your league who feels he will, or doesn't like the fact that he has Pickens and Mitch Trubisky throwing to him. If Pickens can be obtained reasonably, that's a trade to make 10 out of 10 times.

Sell: Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams

What? The heck you say. Cooper Kupp is still one of the league's most productive receivers. He absolutely is, but he's also 30 years old and over the last two games has a total of six receptions for 50 yards.

Sure, that is a trend that likely won't continue, but he's also not going to catch 145 passes in a season again. Clearly, you need to get a great haul in return for Kupp, but if there is an owner that will trade a first and second-round pick or a first and a top-level player, it's a deal to consider.

Kupp was basically untouchable after his 2021 season but that shows you how quickly things can change. He's much closer to coming down the other way than ever getting to that level again.
