Michael Penix Jr. will participate in the Senior Bowl

Last year's draft class was quarterback heavy with Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson being picked in three of the first picks of the 2023 NFL Draft. This year's draft class once again has a number of top quarterbacks like Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels and it could be a similar situation where all three are picked very early in the first round.

One quarterback that has fallen a bit that will try to ensure he is a first round pick is Washington's Michael Penix Jr. He has had two great seasons for Washington with over 4,600 passing yards in each season and had 74 total touchdowns during that stretch.

However, he is coming off a disappointing performance in the National Championship game against Michigan where he completed just over 50% of his passes and had one touchdown but two interceptions.

He will get a chance to improve his draft stock though as he has accepted an invitation to play at the Senior Bowl. Michael Penix Jr. is probably the fourth quarterback in this draft class but could be a good sleeper in rookie drafts for dynasty football depending on where he is drafted.
