On Sunday, the NFL will determine the two teams that will play in Super Bowl LVIII. That makes for one of the most exciting weekends of the season.
But just because the fantasy football season is over and has been for awhile now, does not mean that fantasy players should take a break from assessing things for the coming season, particularly those who are in a dynasty league.
As we watch the games this Sunday between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens as well as the San Francisco 49ers against the Detroit Lions, there are some players on each squad to keep tabs on as they have bright futures as fantasy football stars.

Baltimore Ravens: Isaiah Likely, Tight End
With Mark Andrews missing a good chunk of this season, Isaiah Likely stepped up for the best team in the AFC when it needed him most. Likely, a second-year player out of Coastal Carolina, caught 30 passes for 411 yards and five touchdowns.
It's no secret how much Lamar Jackson depends on Andrews, who is scheduled to return to the field on Sunday, but he showed that same level of confidence in Likely many times this season.
Andrews is still under contract with Baltimore for another two seasons, giving the Ravens a terrific one-two punch going forward. While Andrews will continue to serve as a top 5 tight end in fantasy football, Likely is a great option to have as well as the Ravens will continue to mix him in as he grows as a player.
In addition, Likely could become a viable trade candidate for another team or the Ravens could even be inclined to move Andrews due to the younger Likely's level of production.
Likely is still a player you could get on the cheap and he will continue to be a solid asset on fantasy football rosters going forward, particularly in dynasty leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs: Justyn Ross, Wide Receiver
Though you won't see Justyn Ross contribute on the field on Sunday, he is still a great stash in deep fantasy leagues. The potential, particularly in an explosive offense, is just too high.
I recently discussed the value of Rashee Rice moving forward but Ross has great potential too and is a very low-risk, high-reward type of player.
Ross has had a rough road in recent years after injuring his spine in college at Clemson, a condition that led to him going undrafted in 2022. He also had an arrest in October for a domestic situation which certainly set things back for him even further.
There is definitely no guarantee that Ross will ever live up to his potential. In fact, right now, there is no guarantee that he will ever even step on the field. But he has great size and a tremendous skill set, which he displayed in college, and if he can get things right and get a chance to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes, he could be an incredible weapon to eventually unleash on your fantasy opponents.
Ross recently turned 24 years old, so there is still plenty of time for him to get on track.

San Francisco 49ers: Ronnie Bell, Wide Receiver
Ronnie Bell is another player who will likely have a quiet championship Sunday, but he showed what kind of a player he can be during the preseason when he beat the odds to make the 49ers' final 53-man roster.
Bell, a seventh-round selection out of Michigan, is down on the depth chart on this team but outside of Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, it's not a position the team is deep at. There is no reason to believe that a young and hungry bell can't take snaps from the likes of Jauan Jennings and Ray-Ray McCloud next year.
Bell is capable of the big play as well. He only caught six passes during the regular season but he averaged over 11 yards per catch and three of those went for touchdowns.
In deep dynasty leagues, you should already have this guy stashed on your roster but if you don't and he's sitting there available for anyone to grab, get the jump on it now.

Detroit Lions: Jameson Williams, Wide Receiver
The Detroit Lions are a very complete team that had a terrific 2023 draft that included adding Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta. But a player that was a high draft pick not long ago seems to be hitting his stride.
Jameson Williams, a player the Lions took a chance on as a first-round pick in 2022 despite tearing his ACL in the College Football National Championship Game is a player with an upside that is easy to see.
After a quiet rookie season that saw him catch just one pass (which went for a touchdown), Williams caught 24 passes for 354 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season this year. It's been a slow start for Williams, requiring patience on the part of fantasy managers, but it could certainly end up being worth the wait.
With a clean bill of health and having to serve a six-game suspension for gambling this season behind him, Williams has a bright future in front of him. The Lions have Amon-Ra St. Brown as their No. 1 option in the passing game but Williams can become one of the league's better No. 2 guys as soon as the 2024 season.
This is a guy I would look to buy low on if at all possible. If he is already on your roster, your patience with him is going to pay off.
