There are many factors that can cause the movement behind fantasy football’s biggest risers and fallers.

Injuries and recent signings are both factors. Some weeks we have suspensions and some weeks we have players and management having public disagreements over health. Some of these big swings in perceived value are overreactions and some are valid. Our goal is to help you reach the right decision as to what is causing these changes and help you take advantage of them. These are the biggest movers in the last week.

As always this will not list defenses or kickers because well, they are defenses and kickers. This also does not reflect the obvious ones like a quarterback who gets hurt after four plays and will miss the rest of the season.

Risers in Fantasy Football after Week 7

Taysom Hill - TE - Saints
In the first five weeks this year Hill scored 18.4 fantasy points combined. Last week he had 16.8 points. This is two weeks in a row with double-digit finishes. The problem with Hill is you never know from week to week how he will be used. A perfect example of boom or bust.

Josh Downs - WR - Colts
In his last three weeks Downs has had fantasy points of 15,13, and 23. This coincides with Minshew throwing for over 300 yards in the last two weeks. This should continue.

Dalton Kincaid - TE - Bills
Kincaid is coming off his best game of the year. He now has an opportunity for even more with Dawson Knox undergoing surgery.

Darrell Henderson, Jr. - RB - Rams
From not being on a team to a top-five riser all in a week. There are still way too many moving pieces for me to trust that he will have the same production next week.

Emari Demercado - RB - Cardinals
A big mover this week again. In the last four weeks, he has had one carry, ten carries, two carries and then 13 carries. If looking for a short-term pickup I would go with Pierre Strong, JR or long-term Kareen Hunt would be a better choice.

Fallers in Fantasy Football in Week 7

Jordan Mason - RB - 49ers
With McCaffery and Mitchell both getting snaps they left nothing for Mason. He has gone from 10 carries to 5 to not touching the football this week. Drop without hesitation.

Zach Evans - RB - Rams
Evans was picked up because of all the injuries in the Rams backfield. It looks like after shaking things up going int next week Henderson ad Royce Freeman will get the bulk of the work. They also have Myles Gaskin as another option.

Keaontay Ingram -RB - Cardinals
When James Coner got hurt it looked like there was a path for Ingram to take over the backfield. Week 6 he had 10 carries. This week he had zero. Demercado and Damien Williams will get the most work going forward.

Jeff Wilson, JR. - RB - Dolphins
With Mostert having such a great year and Salvon Ahmed the number two, Wilson saw very little action. I still think that Wilson could have some value but only if you have a huge bench or have a dynasty team.

Sam Howell - QB - Commanders
For someone who is supposed to be a good running QB, He can seem to run away from sacks. He has a total of 116 fantasy points this year. You should be able to find better on the waiver wire.
