Each season, it seems to get increasingly more difficult to not only figure out the tight end position in fantasy football but to get consistent production out of it.

If you are going up against Travis Kelce one week, and you have a tight end that does next to nothing, your opponent has a massive advantage over you. If you don't have one of the 3-5 options at the position that regularly produces, you are tasked with finding a guy who can give you something.

That's what we are going to do here.

I am going to list six tight ends as solid options every week. If you don't have one of these guys, try and find a way to get your hands on one of the three options that follow.

Travis Kelce
Mark Andrews
George Kittle
Sam LaPorta
T.J. Hockenson
Dallas Goedert

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans

Things got off to a slow start this season for Dalton Schultz after coming over from the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent, where he had found plenty of success. In the first three games of the season, he caught just seven passes for 47 yards.

But the Texans' offense has begun to open up and rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud is looking more and more comfortable with each game. Schultz has become one of his favorite targets in that time.

Over the last two games, the Texans tight end has been targeted 17 times in the passing game and he has a touchdown catch in three straight games. This is a tight end that is going to be ranked outside the top 10 on many weekly rankings lists and he could be available on your waiver wire.

If not, he could likely be had in a trade for relatively cheap. I think nabbing Schultz could be a sneaky move the rest of the way this season.
