5 must-start wide receivers for fantasy football in Week 9
By Brandon Ray
4.) Jahan Dotson vs. New England Patriots
The Washington Commanders are a confusing team this season. They started off 2-0 before being crushed by the Buffalo Bills, but then they put up 30+ points in both games against the Philadelphia Eagles, and then allowed the Chicago Bears to put up 40 points on them. In addition, they only scored seven points against the New York Giants.
They could be considered the team that proves that each week is up for grabs and that nothing is guaranteed. However, one thing that the Commanders' offense has been able to do is pass the ball. The last two weeks, wideout Jahan Dotson has been targeted 18 times and has 13 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown. Now he gets a matchup against the Patriots who have been horrendous against opposing number two receivers all season long.
Unless the Patriots' secondary locks up the pass game early on, Dotson could have a favorable matchup and help Sam Howell get past the pass-rush of the Patriots.
