5 quarterbacks to avoid starting in fantasy football for Week 15
The fantasy football playoffs are about to kick off and there is little room for error if you want to advance to the next round. These five QBs should not be starting for your team unless your options are really bad.
Desmond Ridder, Atlanta Falcons (at Carolina)
If I am in the fantasy playoffs, I am not going to be terribly thrilled if I have to start Desmond Ridder.
In the win-loss column, the Carolina Panthers are the worst team in the league. But believe it or not, they rank No. 4 in the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks.
Ridder is coming off of a 347-yard effort against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but in the two games prior to that, he threw for a total of 289 yards. In this game on the road against the Panthers, I would expect him to put up middling numbers.
These teams met in the season opener and though the Falcons won the game, Ridder threw for just 115 yards. He has been able to rack up points on the ground this season but in that game, he had -1 yards rushing.
