1.) Davante Adams vs. Giants

The Las Vegas Raiders are in shambles right now after both Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels were handed a pink slip this past week after a bunch of mistakes that have been made in the last year. Not only that, but Jimmy Garoppolo, who was signed to a three-year deal this past offseason is now being benched for rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell.

New interim head coach Antonio Pierce will look to bring some stability to the organization and get the players’ morale back up after a horrendous start to the season. Luckily the Raiders will get a little bit of a break this week going up against the New York Giants who are arguably worse than them.

However, it doesn’t mean that the Raiders offense will operate the way it has this season. Star wide receiver Davante Adams came off a one catch performance on Monday night against the Detroit Lions, and has not scored a touchdown since Week 3. While this would be the ultimate boom or bust move this week, Adams is not in a great position to succeed because of the uncertainty at quarterback.

If fantasy owners have Adams, and are near the top of their league, maybe the risk is worth it because then it provides clarity. However, if you are floating around.500, whether it is right above or below, the risk could backfire if Adams is on the bench and does go off like we know he can.
