3 best contrarian DFS plays for Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl matchup

The Super Bowl is the biggest game of the year. It's also the day where fantasy football players, still looking to get their hands on one more win for the season, have one last chance to set a DFS lineup.

There is no doubt that the Chiefs' No. 1 offensive weapon (outside of Patrick Mahomes) is tight end Travis Kelce. For that reason, he is the player the San Francisco defense is likely most concerned with stopping.

But Mahomes has shown how resourceful he is this season when options in the passing game have let him down so it is likely that someone is going to have to step out of the shadows to help the win a third Super Bowl in four years.

Noah Gray is not a superstar and likely would not be one even without Kelce on the roster. But that is what you are looking for in this spot because like Juszczyk, he is a player most everyone else in your DFS contest will look over because they don't feel he will contribute much with Kelce in the way.

Gray had at least one reception in 17 of the 19 games he has played in this season (including playoffs) and he found the end zone twice. Again, these are extreme longshots but if he were to catch two or three passes in this game and somehow score a touchdown, you would have a great pick in your lineup.
