Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans

It's always exciting when you have a player on your dynasty roster who is a pending free agent and free to sign elsewhere. It seems unlikely that Derrick Henry returns to Tennessee and there are several teams that could be a good fit.

But is Henry, who is already 30 years old, going to be as effective as he once was with the Titans no matter where he goes? That also seems unlikely.

There could be a manager in your league who is a huge Titans fan or just really likes Henry. Or, there could be a manager who has always dreamed of having the guy who was once the hands down No. 1 running back in fantasy football on their squad.

This could be your chance to go to that manager with an offer and look to get them to overpay.

Sure, Henry could go to a place like Baltimore and run all over the place in 2024. But is that something he would sustain for several more years? Not likely. If you could get someone to give up a solid young player or a premium draft pick in exchange for him, it's something to absolutely consider.

And the sooner you make the deal, the better. Because if he goes to a team that hasn't been as good running the ball in recent years, then he may drop considerably in value. If you can get a player to trade for his past production without knowing what his future holds, take that shot.
