Dynasty Fantasy Football Stock Report for Week 8

Dynasty Fantasy Football Sell Candidates
Running Back - Derrick Henry
The recent trade of former All-Pro safety Kevin Byard to the Philadelphia Eagles was a message to the league that the Titans are likely going to be sellers at the deadline. Derrick Henry still carries the name recognition to be a valuable commodity across dynasty leagues.
However, there is a strong possibility that the Titans star will be the next player Tennessee moves, especially with former Tulane standout RB Tyjae Spears waiting in the wings.
Honorable Mention - Josh Jacobs, Alexander Mattison, Kyren Williams
Wide Receiver - Adam Thielen
Adam Thielen is currently WR7 so far in the 2023 NFL season. His precise route running has fit perfectly with the quick decision making of Bryce Young and even Andy Dalton. However, Carolina is in the market to make a trade for a true top wide receiver such as Denver's Jerry Jeudy or Arizona's Hollywood Brown.
If this happens, Thielen's relative target share will drastically reduce. On an non-contending team, the time to move Thielen is now before his next game against the Houston Texans, who have not allowed a 100 yard receiver all season. Thielen will be 34 years old before the start of next season and dynasty teams should be active in acquiring assets for his services.
Honorable Mention - Mike Evans, Courtland Sutton, Tyler Lockett
Tight End - Darren Waller
In both fantasy football and real life, the Giants offense has been anemic this season. Waller owners should take advantage of his recent relative success in his last game against the Redskins where he had 7 catches for 98 yards and a touchdown.
The Giants passing attack has not produced a viable fantasy option since the days of Odell Beckham Jr. New York currently only has 4 passing touchdowns all season, ranking behind only the anemic Tennessee passing attack. Non-contending teams should consider moving the 31 year old for a future rookie draft pick or young asset.
Honorable Mention - George Kittle, Evan Engram, Hunter Henry
The dynamics of dynasty football dictate teams to buy or sell at this point in the season, similar to the thought process of NFL general managers at this time of the year. Dynasty owners would be wise to review the rosters of their league in attempt to devise a buy/sell strategy using the above targets to maximize success now or in the future.
