Dynasty Leagues: 10 players who gained the most value this season
- Texans and Rams get two players on the list
- Bears QB, Dolphins RB land on list despite different circumstances
- Second-year players surge
Dynasty league players don't have an offseason, that's the beauty of dynasty fantasy football.
How are you going to rebuild your team or how are you going to maintain a championship roster? These are the questions that dynasty managers are now mulling over following the 2023 season.
Previously, I discussed players who went backward in value this season and those would be players to either move on from or attempt to buy low on. Here, we will take a more positive spin and identify players that you can build around for many years to come or try to sell high on while the value is up there.
These players likely brought you to a championship or very close to it in 2023 and provided your roster with solid building blocks for many years to come.
CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb already had terrific value coming into the 2023 season but with the numbers that he put up, you could make the argument that he is a top 10 asset in dynasty leagues going forward.
Lamb led the league with 135 catches this season for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. Those are very encouraging numbers for a guy who is still just 24 years old.
Going forward, Lamb is going to be a supreme asset who could be the No.1 wide receiver taken in redraft leagues next year. He had seven games this season in which he caught at least 11 passes, which is something you don't see out of many players.
Lamb is a guy who you could command multiple first-round picks in exchange for on the trade market as well, so he is one of the better players in the entire league to have on your roster right now.
Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
In his first two seasons in the league, the former third-round pick had a total of 70 career catches and three touchdowns. This year, he caught 80 passes for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns for a surprisingly good Houston offense.
Like Lamb, he is also just 24 years old right now and at 6-foot-4, has the ability to become one of the better big wide receivers in the entire league.
He went from a guy who was likely stashed on your roster to a must-start every week and going forward, he is a really nice piece on any dynasty roster.
