Dynasty Leagues: 10 players who gained the most value this season
- Texans and Rams get two players on the list
- Bears QB, Dolphins RB land on list despite different circumstances
- Second-year players surge
C.J. Stroud, QB, Houston Texans
Part of the reason why Collins was so good this season was because of his rookie quarterback who exploded onto the scene.
C.J. Stroud had a phenomenal rookie year and the future looks extremely bright as a result.
There is a good chance that he wasn't even the first quarterback taken in your rookie draft much like he wasn't the first quarterback taken in the actual draft. But he showed that the Texans have a future with him at the position and there is a strong argument that he is already a top 5 QB in dynasty formats.
Stroud threw for 4,108 yards with 23 touchdowns and only five interceptions. He led the NFL this season in passing yards per game and touchdown-to-interception ratio. Only two quarterbacks in NFL history have ever led in both categories in the same season. They are Joe Montana and Tom Brady.
That's some good company.
Justin Fields, QB, Chicago Bears
The value for Justin Fields went up considerably, but not necessarily for his on-field performance.
The Chicago Bears have the No. 1 overall pick in the draft for the second year in a row. Regardless of what they do with it, that is advantageous for those who have Fields on their dynasty roster. The Bears are either going to trade that pick for more picks in order to acquire more talent for Fields to work with or, they are going to trade Fields into a brand new situation.
Managers should take advantage of this, particularly if you have Fields on your roster. You may be able to acquire quite the haul in a trade.
