Mike Evans signs with the Kansas City Chiefs

Can you imagine this move? But tell me it doesn't make a lot of sense.

The Chiefs, heading to yet another Super Bowl, have the league's best quarterback and the league's best head coach. But aside from Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes doesn't have the kind of offensive weapons many people seem to act like he does.

Rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice is clearly a player with his arrow pointing way up but adding a guy like Evans, one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, would give Mahomes everything he once had with Tyreek Hill and perhaps even more when it came to being a target in the red zone.

The Chiefs have several key players set to hit free agency this offseason and if the team decides not to offer a massive deal to defensive lineman Chris Jones, they could use the money they would save there and swing a deal for another terrific option for Mahomes to throw the ball to.

Evans wearing a Chiefs jersey would be scary for the rest of the NFL, but would look like dollar signs to those who had him on their fantasy football roster.
