Ty Chandler, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Of the names on this list, this one might be the most interesting, at least for this season. The Minnesota Vikings continue to deal with injuries and they continue to find a way to get production out of the next man up.

Alexander Mattison, a preseason darling in fantasy circles after Dalvin Cook was released, has been far from impressive. He is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry this season and has yet to score a touchdown on the ground.

Cam Akers was lost for the season with a torn Achilles. That forced the team to turn to second-year back Ty Chandler. He rushed 15 times for 45 yards in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. He didn't put up impressive numbers, but he is slowly being worked into the mix and this direct snap play that led to him scoring a touchdown in the game is encouraging as it shows the team has plans for his skillset.

Chandler is going to operate as the No. 2 running back in Minnesota for the rest of this season. He will do that behind a mostly ineffective Mattison, so he should get a ton of chances going forward.
