Fantasy Football: 5 players who disappointed in Week 10
By Brandon Ray
3.) Tony Pollard vs. New York Giants
Another week, another statline of Cowboys’ running back Tony Pollard not reaching the end zone despite getting chances early on against the Giants. In addition, Pollard has yet to reach 60 rushing yards in a game which he has not done since Week 3. Pollard has been a disappointment after the first month of football where he has gone down in carries, yardage and obviously touchdowns. He finished the game against the Giants with 15 carries for 55 yards, but did not contribute to the passing game.
If he hasn’t yet, Pollard is now starting to go more towards away from starter status in fantasy. The Cowboys’ offense has a lot of play-action where Pollard either ends up in pass protection or becomes a potential security blanket for Dak Prescott if the first couple of options are not open. Moving forward, no one can blame for putting Pollard on the bench until he proves that he can be a valuable weapon.
