Before you know it, fantasy football for the 2024 season will be here, despite it coming to an end not too long ago. With a full offseason ahead of us, every move that a team makes could impact a fantasy stock.

For example, before quarterback Baker Mayfield won the NFC South for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there were concerns about wide receiver Mike Evans who was catching passes from Tom Brady the prior three seasons. With Mayfield getting his potentially last chance to become a starter in this league, the ceiling for Evans was not very high.

However, with Mayfield under center, Evans had just four games where he didn't score double digit points and finished the regular season as a top ten fantasy receiver.

The best part about the NFL is that projections don't mean anything because anything can happen at any moment. With that being said, there are reasons to believe why there are five players heading into next season who have a great case to be drafted number one overall next year.

Here are five players who have a case to be drafted with the first overall pick in fantasy football in 2024.
