3.) Breece Hall

When the season first started for the New York Jets, it was hard to predict how much of an impact running back Breece Hall would have on the team. In his rookie season the year before, he tore his ACL after a strong start to his 2022 season.

However, right out of the gate against the Buffalo Bills, he ran for 127 yards off of 10 carries that ultimately helped the Jets beat the Bills in overtime in Week 1. Then from Weeks 2-4, Hall had just 22 total carries for 83 yards with no touchdowns. It was not looking promising for him heading into the second quarter of the season. That however would be the total opposite.

From Week 5 and on, he had seven games where he scored 20+ points (including a 40 point performance in Week 16 against the Washington Commanders). Not only was he able to be effective on the ground, but he also was a big contributor in the passing game for the Jets.

Every other two weeks starting in Week 8, he found himself catching a touchdown pass and even had himself a 12 catch game against Washington. With Aaron Rodgers expected to be back for the Jets (after just playing four plays in the season opener), more opportunities should be expected for Hall as he may have the opportunity to carry the rock if the Jets are winning games rather than playing catch up.
