Fantasy Football: 5 studs, 5 duds in Week 9
- A couple of tight ends have big days
- Michael Thomas puts up a goose egg
- Rams offense needs Matthew Stafford
Week 9 stud: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys
For the second week in a row, CeeDee Lamb put up a huge performance for the Dallas Cowboys and your fantasy team. He caught 11 passes for 191 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles and though he came up short of the end zone on the game's final play, he put up a ton of points for fantasy owners.
This has to be quite settling for fantasy players and they hope it is a trend that continues. In the last two games alone, Lamb has 23 receptions for 349 yards and two touchdowns. He also has 30 targets in those two games.
It seems to have become a focus of the Cowboys to get the ball to their No.1 wide receiver as in the four games prior to the last two weeks, he caught a total of 19 passes on 25 targets.
Week 9 dud: C.J. Moore, WR, Chicago Bears
It was a great game for Cole Kmet, but not a good day for C.J. Moore, who likely can't wait until Justin Fields can play again.
He had just three receptions for 44 yards on Sunday and also lost a fumble. He was targeted just two times. In the last two weeks, with Bagent as the starter, Moore has seven receptions on 11 targets.
Fields has the connection with Moore than Bagent just hasn't established and his value will take a hit until Fields returns.
