Week 9 stud: Jonnu Smith, TE, Atlanta Falcons

Another tight end makes the list, as Jonnu Smith had one of the most surprising performances of Week 9, catching five passes for 100 yards with a 60-yard touchdown.

The Falcons are a tough team to figure out in fantasy. It's Tyler Allgeier getting the points at running back rather than Bijan Robinson and it's Smith getting the tight end points rather than Kyle Pitts.

Ask Arthur Smith about that.

It's unlikely that too many people actually started Smith this week but if they did, they were quite happy.

Week 9 dud: Jonathan Mingo, WR, Carolina Panthers

There probably weren't a ton of fantasy players that plugged the rookie Jonathan Mingo into their lineups this week but with a lot of key players having to sit due to a bye, it is certainly possible. I know I saw his name on a lot of "sleeper" lists out there too.

Well, if you did take that advice or you did put him in your lineup on a hunch, you were rewarded with one catch for five yards. Yes, that is all.

The Carolina Panthers are figuring it out with Bryce Young at quarterback, and there are going to be a lot of growing pains. I wouldn't suggest using this guy in your lineups or for DFS purposes the rest of this season.
