Fantasy Football: 5 wide receivers to avoid starting in Week 10

3.) Jakobi Meyers vs. New York Jets
The last two weeks, Jakobi Meyers has not reached 40 receiving yards in each game and the only reason why he managed to get into double digit point territory last week was because of a rushing touchdown.
He has had a combined 3 targets go his way in the last two weeks and even though the Raiders found themselves some momentum from winning against the New York Giants, it’s still not a convincing thought to start Meyers this week. Las Vegas will face the New York Jets this week, who have a secondary that can takeaway multiple weapons on offense. In addition, the Jets’ defense did play well against Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ passing attack last week.
In this matchup against either Sauce Gardner or D.J. Reed, Meyers does not provide a lot of fantasy value. Whether it is because of great coverage in the backend, or the Jets’ defensive line pressuring Aidan O’Connell, Meyers is better on the bench this week.
