1.) Davante Adams vs. Miami Dolphins

Are the Las Vegas Raiders a team to take lightly anymore? Since the firing of Josh McDaniels, the Raiders are 2-0 and just beat a Jets’ team whose defense should have easily overwhelmed the Raiders. While the Raiders have slowly turned things around for the better, there are still concerns about their star wideout in Davante Adams.

He has not reached over 100 receiving yards since Week 3, as well as not seeing the endzone. He has to reach more than 15 fantasy points since Week 4 and even in the two games that the Raiders have won the last two weeks, he has only caught a combined 10 catches for 120 yards. Those are the kind of numbers we expect from Adams per game, not in a stretch.

The Raiders will take on the Miami Dolphins, who are coming off a bye after their loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany. The Dolphins at the end of the day are too fast on offense for the Raiders’ defense to keep up with them, and when you have a cornerback like Jalen Ramsey who will more than likely be covering Adams, there is not much room for success with a rookie quarterback. Until Adams proves that he can get something going with Aidan O’Connell, he is not a must-start receiver each week.
