Fantasy Football: 7 Bold predictions for Week 6
- Much-maligned tight end has a nice day
- One defensive unit goes completely off
Week 6 of the 2023 fantasy football season is here. How is your team doing?
The season has already featured many ups and downs, several breakout performances and just as many injuries to navigate. But regardless of what your record is, there is still time to turn things around this season.
As you set your lineups this weekend, or fill out lineups in a DFS contest, we want you to keep some things in mind. Specifically, these bold predictions for the games this week, excluding the contest between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs, which took place on Thursday Night Football.
Fantasy Football Week 6 bold prediction No. 1: Justin Fields does it again
Not long ago, fantasy managers were ready to do whatever they could to get away from Justin Fields. I was one who was telling you to get value out of him while you still could.
If you were able to get great value, good for you. But for those who gave him one more chance against the Washington Commanders, good for you too, because he went off in that game. And in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings, he's going to do it again.
The Vikings have a hard time stopping anyone and going into Chicago, who will have added rest after playing their last game on a Thursday night, is going to be a potential recipe for disaster.
Fields has played in just two career games against the Vikings and has not had a 300-yard passing game or multi-touchdown passing game against them. He will do both on Sunday.
Bold prediction: Justin Fields throws for 330 yards and 3 TDs
