Fantasy Football: Best starts for players outside the Top 10 in Week 8

Isiah Pacheco - Chiefs vs. Broncos - RB15 - Projected Points 16.6

In the last five weeks, Pacheco was able to score a touchdown in each game except one. That was two weeks ago playing Denver. He did get 13 rushing attempts and caught all four targets. If he gets his usual one touchdown he should blow past the 16 projected points. Denver has given up the most yardage and the most fantasy points to running backs.

Jahmyr Gibbs - Lions vs. Raiders - RB22 - Projected Points 14.4

In a losing effort last week against the Ravens, Gibbs was a bright spot totaling 23 fantasy points. He had 68 yards rushing and 58 yards receiving. He had the second most targets for the Lions just behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. For the year Gibbs is second to Kamara for targets per game out of the backfield. Gibbs could have a big game with Montgomery’s availability still up in the air at this time.
