Sell High: Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

This situation is similar to the one with Derrick Henry and would be more for those in a dynasty league than anything. But Austin Ekeler's 2023 season has been tumultuous, to say the least.

He asked for a trade this offseason and when that didn't happen, he took to his familiar role as the Chargers' No. 1 running back. But whether it be the offense that is now run by Kellen Moore or the sheer dysfunction that seems to surround this team, Ekeler is having a down year.

He ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown in the season opener and then missed a month due to injury. He has yet to cross 100 yards rushing since.

He is coming off of a season in which he caught 107 passes. So far in 2023, he has just 24 catches. His 3.9 yards per carry this season is also well below his career average of 4.59 yards per carry coming into this season. He will also turn 29 years old in May.

Is it the offense? Has Ekeler lost a step? He will also be a free agent after the season and there is a really good chance he will be playing somewhere else next year. If you have him in a dynasty league, that is a lot of questions.
