Keaton Mitchell, six players to add on waiver wire ahead of Week 10
Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills
In line with Bills' tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) going on IR, and Dalton Kincaid being used as a traditional in-line tight end, Shakir has become Buffalo's primary slot receiver with 10 catches over the last two games and at least a 65 percent snap share in both contests.
Buffalo's bye is not until Week 13, and Knox will miss at least two more games. Week 10 against the Denver Broncos is a nice matchup, followed by a tough one in Week 11 against the New York Jets. If Knox were out in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles, that would be a nice matchup for Shakir too.
Week 10 is a very tough bye week at the wide receiver position, which will stretch depth and lead to some owners really having to mine for some options. With some tilt to PPR formats, Shakir is a viable add to help navigate (at least) the next two weeks.
