Fantasy Football: Lamar Jackson among 5 bold predictions for Week 8

3.) Detroit D/ST bounces back vs. Raiders, leads D/ST in scoring
The Cinderella story of the Detroit Lions has been a great movie to watch (unless you have faced the Lions this season and lost). Going into Week 7 last week, the anticipated matchup between the Lions and Baltimore Ravens was arguably game of the week going into the game.
From the first snap until the last whistle, the Ravens completely dominated the Lions and never gave them a chance to get into the game. Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson torched the Detroit defense in a performance that the Lions are looking to move on from quickly going into Week 8.
This week, the Lions’ defense has a break in a favorable matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night football. The offense for Las Vegas has been forgetful to watch and their star receiver in Davante Adams has been vocal about some of the decisions that are being made by the team throughout their games.
The Lions’ defense was one of the worst units to start last week in fantasy. This week, I am predicting that not only do they bounce back but they will end up as the highest scoring defensive unit to help get the Lions back on track.
