When the Atlanta Falcons drafted Bijan Robinson at the eighth overall pick this year in the NFL draft, they got themselves a clear powerful player who could step right in and be a difference maker for the best. It showed in the first two weeks of the season, where Robinson scored over 20 fantasy points and was heavily involved in the Falcons' offense. Since then, Robinson has been been able to get into double digits but not near the 20 point mark.

In his last four games, Robinson has not even scored 15 fantasy points and his Week 7 performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he only had one carry for 3 yards has started the trend. In Week 8, Robinson did have 62 rushing yards and one touchdown, but failed to bring in any of the five targets he had in the passing game. Even though he managed to just eclipse over double digit, it still doesn't provide much confidence.

Then just this past week, Robinson had 11 carries again but for only 51 yards, while adding on 2 catches for 8 yards.

Is it time to worry about Bijan Robinson's fantasy impact?

With it only going into Week 10 of the NFL season, the Falcons can still get Robinson involved but in fantasy terms with the playoffs approaching in a few weeks, it could be time to make the risky decision to put Robinson on the bench. The Falcons play the Arizona Cardinals this week before going on their bye week. The Cardinals' defense has only not allowed over 100 rushing yards in a game two times this season, in which they have given up over 100 yards the past four games.

It might be too early to make the quick judgement call to sit Robinson, especially given the matchup Robinson has. However, it all comes down to the comfort level on how fantasy owners feel about this upcoming week with playoff implications coming up.
