With six different teams on bye this week, byemageddon is officially upon us. With that in mind, trust these four players to help you overcome your bye weeks/injuries in Week 7.

Weeks like this separate the good fantasy managers from the great. Those who can overcome a slew of bye weeks/injuries and prevail will increase their chances of making the fantasy playoffs significantly.

Regardless of bye weeks, be sure to have this QB, RB, WR, and TE in your lineup. They’re all primed for huge Week 7 performances.

QB: Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Despite ranking third in the NFL amongst quarterbacks in passing yards (1,677), Stafford is near the bottom of this list in passing touchdowns (6). Even though the Rams are sixth in pass attempts per game (37.8), Stafford has just one game with multiple touchdown passes. In other words, he is due for a big performance and now has a prime matchup against the Steelers.

The Steelers defensive unit has struggled against the pass this season, ranking 25th in the NFL in both opponent passing yards per game (245.6) and opponent passing touchdowns per game (1.6). Given the carousel that is the current Rams running back room following Kyren Williams suffering an ankle injury, head coach Sean McVay is going to lean on his franchise signal-caller to get the job done. Not to mention, Stafford has one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL to work with between All-Pro Cooper Kupp and rookie sensation Puka Nacua.

According to Scott Spratt of FTN Fantasy, Stafford ranks within the top 12 in red zone pass attempts but has foregone six rushing touchdowns to Williams from within seven yards or less. Positive touchdown regression is imminent for Stafford.

Start Stafford with confidence in a plus matchup against a leaky Steelers secondary.
