Fantasy Football: One QB, RB, WR, and TE primed for huge Week 7 performances
By Lior Lampert
WR: Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
Tyler Lockett is coming off his best game of the season and now faces a Cardinals defense that ranks in the bottom 10 in both opponents passing yards per game (243.3) and opponent passing touchdowns per game (1.5).
Fellow Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf seems to be in jeopardy of missing Week 7 while tending to injuries to his ribs and hip, with head coach Pete Carrol saying he will be a game-time decision on Sunday. Even if Metcalf plays, it seems like he will be operating at less than 100 percent, which should enable Lockett to be the de facto No. 1 wide receiver for the Seahawks this week.
Lockett has taken a liking to playing against the Cardinals. In 2020, he had the game of his life against the Cardinals, hauling in 15 passes for 200 yards to go with three touchdowns. Additionally, Lockett is averaging 74.3 receiving yards per game in his last four games versus the Cardinals, scoring three touchdowns in the process.
Expect the good times to continue rolling for Lockett against the Cardinals in Week 7 and do not hesitate to put him in your lineups.
