TE: Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are expected to welcome back All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp in his highly-anticipated season debut after dealing with a lingering hamstring injury throughout the offseason. Kupp can roll out of bed and sleepwalk his way to 10-plus targets, so it will be interesting to see how his reinsertion to the lineup impacts players such as rookie sensation Puka Nacua and veteran tight end Tyler Higbee. While that remains to be seen, Higbee figures to have at least one more week of fantasy relevance while Kupp works his way back into game shape and faces an Eagles defense that has struggled to defend tight ends this season.

Per Matthew Berry’s weekly Love/Hate column, the Eagles have allowed the third-most fantasy points to the tight end position this season. Despite missing their stud wide receiver for the first month of the season, the Rams rank first in the NFL in pass attempts per game (41.5) In a game with an expected total of 50 where the Rams are four-point home underdogs, Higbee should be very involved in the team’s offensive attack. Higbee has drawn 23 targets over the past three weeks, which ranks third amongst tight ends in that span.

Higbee has recorded at least 64 yards in each of his past two games and now has a welcoming matchup against the Eagles in what is anticipated to be one of the highest-scoring games of the week. All of this sets up for Higbee to finish the week as a top-five fantasy tight end.
