WR: Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

Another player who is surprisingly being featured in this column after being drafted as early as the second round of fantasy football drafts, Chris Olave has failed to meet expectations to start the season. Olave hasn’t been bad by any means, ranking as the overall WR19 in Yahoo Fantasy PPR leagues, but there has been a lot of meat left on the bone through the first nine weeks.

Olave continues to pace the NFL in unrealized air yards, per Player Profiler. In addition to the unrealized air yards, the volume has been there for Olave all season. He is tied for seventh in the NFL in targets (85) with Raiders receiver Davante Adams.

With that in mind, it is clear there has been a disconnect between Olave and quarterback Derek Carr, whom the Saints acquired this offseason. These things take time and the chemistry between the two should only improve, which bodes well for Olave as soon as Week 10 in a promising matchup against the Vikings.

Bet on the talent and the volume of Olave to propel him to a huge Week 10 performance and a strong finish to the season.
